Some more Artifacts, little hard to see.

I can't see Hearthstone being a good experience on consoles.. I mean it wouldn't be unplayable.. but would be MUCH slower than every other platform. I'd be pissed playing against a console gamer.

Yup I agree with you. But since they have Overwatch going to console, they might try to bring over some of there other games.

But Hearthstone makes little to no sense. Supporting Battle.net on another platform seems like a headache, and how many people own just a PS4/X1 and no other Hearthstone capable device? Maybe 5... in the world?

Any shit tablet, moderately recent phone, netbook, laptop or PC will run HS.

ok im back

fucking hype

I just really hope that Diablo gets an overhaul on consoles, in terms of seasons and hacking. I wish I could play online but it's impossible the way it is right now.

Heroes of The Storm and Hearthstone could absolutely work on consoles and would make a ton of cash.

Yeah, i can play hearthstone on my phone or tablet or on my 55" TV while i am derped out. It's not like they have to make actual battle.net apps for the console just require a log on like netflix.

Got my snacks and my drinks and everything ready.

Opening ceremony and lots of Hearthstone world championship after.

This is going to be an amazing evening.

fake edit: and there's music on the stream now!

$130 Overwatch CE?

What the hell is in that, that the Origins edition wouldn't have? Is that like a lifetime founder's edition or something?

Been that way for a few years.

It grows increasingly silly every year.

Oh well, if people wanna pay 40 bucks for early access to news and some e-trinkets more power to them. Just seems archaic at this point.

As long as people keep paying it'll stay forever I'd imagine.

How often is Hearthstone updated? Don't see how they could do that on the consoles with their patch validation bollocks. Heroes of the Storm? Maybe worth the effort, but with HS being so readily available, I just don't see it.

here we gooooooo

Honestly, Hearthstone would likely be updated less than Overwatch would be. Every 3-6 months they release new content for it, and in between that contents theres maybe one major patch, and small patches for bug fixes and adding the new card back/tarvern brawl and what not.

With Overwatch they will probably constantly be updating it adding new skins, new heroes, and new game modes.

I agree with you, it would be a weird move. But now that they have two of their 6 games on console, I could definitely see the Activision side of Acitivsion Blizzard wanting to push more of the Blizzard games to console.

Dance emotes in Diablo 3?

I swear to god if this is the only D3 content thats added I would stop being a Blizzard fanboy.
Or at least I would try to stop being a fanboy, but I'm sure I would fail.

the hearthstone problem is a UX one.. not a capabilities one. Hearthstone is fast. (well.. unless there is some noob or BM shit going on).. I mean turns can usually be counted in 2-4 seconds at the start of the game.. Just the nature of a dpad means taptaptaptaptaptap to get shit done. console-only it would be fine (i.e. not playing with tablets and PC).. but the other problem with hearthstone is that the game is universal. So my collection is the same collection everywhere. how would they pull that off on consoles while still blocking cross-platform play?

I mean look at Magic on consoles compared to hearthstone.. Not a very good comparison.. but even Magic, taking out all of the synchronous interrupt stuff.. still plays WAY slower than hearthstone on PC/tablet.. and I seriously doubt hearthstone console would be able to change that.

not saying blizz isn't going to do it.. but again... I'll be pissed if it's cross platform. Already hit too many games with noobs or BM that go to the end of the rope. ugh.

YouTube link, please!

But Overwatch isn't crossplay (at least, it shouldn't be), so patches arriving a bit late on console isn't really an issue at all. A non-crossplay Hearthstone wouldn't make sense in the first place.

Ah well, we'll see. Overwatch & Diablo I understand, and I can sorta see Heroes of the Storm, given how simple it is.

Maybe only release it on one of the consoles, and not block cross-platform play. If they put enough effort into it, you would be able to map all functions of Hearthstone to a controller and it would remain pretty quick.

BUT who knows.
