Bloodborne is February's IGN First

My only worry about the game is that there will be no bright areas. I don't want to always play in darkness.

THIS GAME IS GOING TO BE GLORIOUS

RUN FROM THE INTERNET

NO RUN

FUCK YOU

AAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

but seriously, i dont want to be spoiled. i want to go in with a clean mind, most everything being a surprise. but ... its still 2 months. any chance of an early release? please? god? PLEASE

If you're going to post large images, put them in quotes pleaseee.

Almost crashing my chrome :(

screens look amazing

This is very impressive.

My OCD is ruining this gif for me because of that fire on the right torch. >_> Can't unsee it.

It's the blast effect from the hammer hitting the ground. If you look close, it distorts the air in a circle all the way around where it hits.

Dear God, give me the strength to resist temptation, give me the strength to avoid any spoilers about Bloodborne, let my fingers neither type nor click on anything about this game that will ruin the experience come March. Give me strength.

Amen.

What am I missing? The way the fire expands as the enemy starts running quickly?

It does it right when the enemy starts to run. I assumed it was that.

Nah, look at the shiny parts of the enemy he's hitting and the ground on the bottom left. It all gets distorted as soon as the hammer hits the ground.

It is nice but I actually prefer not to watch, I want to explore for myself and seeing others play spoils a bit. One of the great things about soul series is the mystery that lays around every corner and I don't want that to be ruined.

I can't really tell, but either way it looks cool to me. Is the gif sped up on purpose to give the illusion of 60 fps? Because I watched beta footage and it never moved this smoothly.

Not going on a blackout but will refrain from story stuff. I need to investigate mechanics more. To be certain I'm going to love it. Man I can't wait for this.... I'm wanting to get Lords of the Fallen just to have a DS style game to play in the meantime (I dont have a last gen console).

I'm incredibly hyped for the dev interviews but i'll try to avoid watching anymore gameplay.Definitely not watching the beginning of the game.

Fuck. Do I want to see this? I wanted to go in blind -.-

Ive not followed much of this game, even though Im really excited for it. I mean, since its basically a Souls game, with From Software and Sony hands in it, I dont think it can be a bad game at all.

That said I think I will also try not to watch those gameplays. Would be interesting for me to jump in without knowing shit, and becoming surprised by everything.

But I dont know if I'll resist, so I cant promise that even for myself.

Hype. As long as they don't spoil bosses, I'll watch the first 18 minutes. Well, spoiling the Asylum Demon equivalent won't bother me too much and I assume that's all that they could possibly reach in 18 minutes.

18 virtually uninterrupted minutes of Bloodborne

Must resist.......stay strong Souls GAF

I don't get the whole "Blackout" thing for this game.

What is there to spoil? A deep, complex, riveting narrative?

I suppose the bosses could be spoiled, but that would be a positive thing. You'd get to see some strategies for fighting the bosses before facing them. In a game as grueling and challenging as this, you can use all the help you can get.

Definitely not a positive. Would rather learn for myself.

Souls games are an experience, so it's literally spoiling yourself on the experience.
For a lot of fans their first game is like a revelation and they always wish they could go back and replay it for the first time again as a noob.
And yeah, you can actually spoil yourself on lore and other elements that would otherwise add charm to the universe of the game.

There's also things like surprising enemy positions you can spoil yourself on, making the encounter less interesting when you reach it and know exactly what is going on and use your Mad Souls Skillz(tm) to easily evade danger.

The list goes on honestly.
