The bolded is kind of useless if we don't have any info on how many people bought it directly from Future Press. I informed Amazon of the damage when I requested a replacement but I doubt they've told Future Press and now I'm waiting a month or more since the date was still tentative. I've not made a big fuss about this so it always gets weird when it starts to feel so overly "damage control mode" especially if according to them there is very little "damage" to control in the 1st place.
I feel lucky! I got a rare drop!
Earlier today their twitter account assured somebody that Amazon UK had received their stock on Monday. But now they've changed their tune and are saying they'll have stock later today or tomorrow... ugh.

I begin to be seriously worried about ever receiving my guide. I ordered it as soon as it was avaliable for pre-order in february, through amazon.fr (I guess it's tied to amazon.co.uk since the guide is the same but was cheaper). No news except the usual email announcing a delay about 10 days ago.
Now it's marked as unavailable with a release date April 17th :/
I hope this won't turn out to be a Bayonetta kind of scenario. I have all the Future Press guides for the games I played i.e. Bayonetta (abeit in French :/), Vanquish, DS1 and 2 and would be seriously bummed out not to get this one.

Well at least you have that! My guide will likely be in my hands in a few hours... and I just now received an email from Sony that congratulated me for beating the game =( Either way, I want the beautiful guide. Just very unfortunate.
Book Depository (UK half) sent me an email today that they've received their stock in so Amazon UK should also get theirs too I'd imagine.
It's a good job I didn't buy the guide to use anyway. I already platinumed it and did everything I wanted to for the time being, lol.

Amazon just updated with a new estimated delivery date of April 28 on the replacement. All things considered that seems reasonable. I wonder if it's because the bubbles on the gloss is an identified printing error at this point? It's a fabulous book that's handsomely put together which made it all the more unfortunate.

Just got my guide in from FedEx. Looked it over to check for warping/damage and everything seems to be fine. I'll give it a more thorough look once I get off work.

I got that on the Homeworld artbook, and it was a bummer (but there it wasn't the publisher/ printer's fault. The delivery guy left the box on a damp floor as it had been raining, and it stayed there most of the day absorbing moisture until I got home that day).

It's in stock on Amazon now. Mine has a delivery estimate of Monday, April 27th. I ordered it this past Sunday when it was out of stock. So I guess not so bad. I'm half-tempted to cancel my order and reorder it. I feel like Prime Shipping should get it here before Monday if it's in stock now.

I have had a hell of a time just like everyone else trying to get this thing. I chatted with Amazon and told them nicely that I have Prime and asked why would I get it on Monday if I have free 2 day shipping and they upgraded it to one day shipping for free so now I get it on Friday. Yay.

Got my guide and while the content itself is great, the pages are warped like many users are reporting. Is there any good fix for this? I tried putting a bunch of heavy books on top of it overnight but it looks like the hardcover is absorbing most of the weight since I can still see waves even with the weight on it.
mine arrived fine. if you're unsatisfied, contact them for a replacement. seems they're pretty good about it from some Gaffers here.

Eh, I'm not worried about it enough to get it replaced. It looks fairly minor compared to what some have posted. I was more curious if there's an easy solution besides what I'm attempting to do now. I'll just throw some more books on top of it and leave it like that for a couple days while I'm out of town.

it won't fix it from my experience. sounds like it went through some humid areas during shipping and absorbed the moisture.
After using my guide for a couple days, thumbing around different chapters for a few hours, the waves in the pages have gotten worse and some pages actually stick out further than others from the binding. I emailed Amazon (USA) around midnight and they have already one-day shipped a replacement to be delivered tomorrow much to my surprise. I am really sorry for you EU folks who have to wait extra long to get this guide. If it's any consolation I think you will be pretty happy with it, especially when the digital PS4 version is available. Being able to flip back and forth between the game and digital guide will be amazing.
