Bloodborne Strategy guide .... where are you?

if the wavy pages are bothering you, do an exchange especially if you got it on Amazon. mine arrived perfect.

Mine arrived damaged in the corner w/ wave pages. Contacted Amazon and they sent me a new one, witch Is flawless, and told me to keep the damaged one.
I'll be looking to trade the new one for a witcher 3 guide. Just need to figure out how to go about doing that.

Just got mine (Amazon UK). The pages are perfect, I am really happy with the condition of it (lucky me, for once). The guide seems awesome so far, very helpful with incredible amounts of detail.

So.. the code is for a theme and digital guide? One code for all?

I was so pleased when my guide arrived from Book Depository in beautiful condition - with no warping! It then turned out that I'd been a bit premature in celebrating, and I was quite astonished to see that FuturePress decided to take the blood concept a bit too literally. It's an incredible guide, just... er, very pink.

Anyone else with this printing issue?

Received my guide today. Very minor warping, but it's basically negligible, so lucky me, I guess.

The redeem codes I got, however, can apparently only be redeemed in States, Canada, and Latin America. Maybe this is because I ordered my book from Amazon US instead of UK, but I wish poor European me would've known this in advance.

Any advice about codes, anyone? Should I maybe contact PSN support or somebody?

Just set up an American account and redeem the code on the US PSN. You'll be able to use the themes you download on any profile.

It... actually seems I can't. After downloading the theme through US PSN, my EU profile "Cannot connect to the server to verify the licence." As for the other code, apparently it's not available to anyone just yet.
Regardless, yeah, setting up US account seems like the best solution here, and something I should've done earlier anyway.

It really bothers me that they put the suggested timezones for every level, but they didn't include what each of the symbols meant or how to use it.

Mine came in with wavy pages from Amazon US. I doubt this guide will ever become rare. The Dark Sous II guide is still in print. The guide for DS1 is going for $100 online nowadays.

Mine came in, I got wavy pages. What's the best thing to do? I feel like if I contact Amazon now I run the risk of just getting another warped copy.

"Behold! a Paleblood Book!"

Wow - sorry, that is truly terrible and puts my insight blobs from earlier to shame. Get a replacement man.

After my shipping date being pushed back several times, it finally came today. yaaay.

I'm really sorry that people books are fucked, hopefully you guys can get a replacement quickly.
I haven't checked mine yet, i hope it's not fucked too.

I didn't realize the warping was a common issue or that they may do an exchange. I'll probably just deal with it though, despite the concerns I have about the first section or so falling out of the binding.

It's the mensis edition! Bound to be worth more in time.

If the Paleblood Guide grows eyes and begins to hum, I'm getting the hell out of dodge. (Or I'll leave it within the deep dark depths of a randomly generated Chalice Dungeon.)

It really is a incredible shade of pink.

I just got mine today and don't even have the game yet. Waiting for a sale on the CE.

I guess I'll have to crack it out to make sure I didn't get the Hot Pink Edition. *sigh* Could they have screwed the pooch any worse with this guide?

Great guide, slowly going through it but trying to use it as a walk through is still a bit confusing for me.
I have to say I agree with this. One of the reasons I picked it up was for the walkthrough, and honestly it seems overly complicated but minimalistic at the same time. It is quite odd.

Can others chime in? I am new to From games, so perhaps that is the reason why, but it does not seem very thorough at all, which is the opposite of what I expected it to be.

Finally got a shipment from Amazon only for USPS to snafu it somewhere in Indiana circa last Thursday. Was supposed to arrive on Saturday. Hmmm...

Will be interested to see if it is pink on arrival (if it arrives).

Got mine today (Australia) and it has the wavy pages. I've tried gently rolling and unrolling some of the pages and it appears to diminish if not entirely eliminate the problem. I probably won't return it unless a serious flaw turns up (e.g. pink pages) as it looks fantastic and I'm about to start a more difficult part of the game now.

I agree with this. I don't use the guide as a walk through because it's super complicated. Sounds silly, being a guide and all. Maybe I'm just getting old. Anytime I find myself stuck in the game I just hit gaf up for all the answers I need.
I will say that the art and theme of the book is worth the price of admission imo.

I finally ordered my book last night. I have not played the game in a few weeks (due to time)... but I have wanted to guide forever. I had planned on buying it at Gamestop on release but then I found out ... it was online only...

Oh well, I ordered last night, and shipped today. Should have it tomorrow.

(I just hope it is in good condition)

It seems it is pretty common. Mine was getting worse the more I read it. It bothered me enough to put in for a replacement, which hopefully is from another shipment that doesn't have the humidity/moisture damage that the first presumably did. It comes tomorrow so I'll post my findings. Also, I don't have a picture of it right now, but some pages were protruding further out from the binding than others, making it difficult to page-flip large sections to chapter-hop. This wasn't a problem when I first opened it upon delivery either, so I'm feeling maybe these guides were pretty hastily put together and aren't wuite up to the quality standard of the previous guides. Paper quality too seems lower, it's more textured/grainy than the glossy slick pages of the Dark Souls guides...

Similar experience here. Mine was perfect when it arrived and now when the guide is closed, you can tell some of the pages do not lay perfectly flat. It's slightly wavy (certain groups of pages, mostly in the back) now but not enough for major concern. Not sure if I should bother replacing it or not.

Mine arrived last week (Amazon US - Sent to Brazil). Fortunately it's in perfect condition, minor wavy pages and no printing problems.

Thank God, getting a replacement for a international shipping is a pain in the ass.

Just popped in to say

I hope someone gets around to bugging Miyasaki about the lack of a BEAST transformation

I bet it was something intended and eventually got cut. Pretty sure I know why but I would love to hear his take on it.

that's normal

Just received mine from bookdepository and I got two pages with some weird damage. I guess my damage pales in comparison with what I've seen in this thread but still bummed that it's not flawless.

So the code you get on the flyer with the guide, is it for the PS4 theme and the digital guide? Should I wait until the guide is up before using it if so?
