The BPD commissioner just said a half hour ago they had no one.

Fox is holding firm on their reporting that someone is under guard at the hospital as well. Citing "solid sources" in the Justice Department. As I posted before, they acknowledged the commissioner's statement and said it did not conflict with their reporting as this officially this person is a "person of interest" and not officially in custody.

Why should a child die.. I mean really, why on earth would anybody of right mind do this. It's just tremendously sad and for what? What kind political or religious statement is worth a child's life. So sad.

I can't even process why someone would want to do this.

It's unfathomable to me. I just don't understand...

Why?

Devastating...

Damn this is pretty bad. Given the location of the explosion near all the international flags i would not be surprised at a middle-eastern origin or someone with international terrorism goals.

Watching CBS live on the net. According to them the Saudi suspect was near the bomb blast area, and started to run once it went off (like everyone else). Apparently another individual there tackled him and took him to the police because he looked "suspicious".

Not sure if racism...

According to officials he is fully cooperating and denies he played a role in the attack.

I apologize if this isn't the time for theorizing, but today is Kim Il Sung's birthday which is a major North Korean holiday. It will be interesting if NK takes any sort of credit for this.

CBS Boston just said a Saudi man was seen running away from the explosion and a civilian tackled him.

No crap he was running from the explosion.

That picture is horrible regardless of the context but I would be wary of just taking captions at face value. Especially when it is just from twitter.

Ugh, why did I click heartbreaking twitter link???

I've seen more disturbing images than I really should have today. On a personal level, what I've found most striking about this attack is that the raw, emotional reactions in people's faces to the events around them have been extremely hard to look at and digest. Whereas gore may have been too "gross" for me to look at when I was younger, I am now finding people's emotions far more difficult to cope with in these pictures/videos.

I wish all the best for everyone involved, stay strong.

Taking credit means little if they didn't do it. I'm sure we'll get fringe groups claiming responsibility.
