Meh, we lost a bit of money, but it went off without a hitch. It was all done 15 minutes ahead of schedule, we had it done 5 minutes after our OC clock reset. Shame we didn't make more money but oh well.

You're punctual and fast and you were ready to go before I even got to Penn, which was half an hour early, which makes you an awesome teammate for OCs.

Ok, I'm working on the crew aspect. not given up hope yet.
I'm currently in VF, the crew seems to be dissolving due to an internal struggle, so there may be a chance here to take over.
DON'T apply to join VF yet, leaving is VERY costly (gun & training would be lost, along with protection & up to 60% of your health).

oops... VF plan backfired...
Currently "under the wing" of The Reborn Souls.
VF is the one to watch though, if we're going to get a crew slot at all it will be that one, we've got to keep an eye on their numbers, to give you an idea, If I wanted to buy VF off TribalX it would cost me either 850+ points, or $850 Million - £1 Billion-ish.
Damn, why won't they open up some more crew slots

Nope, I had to leave voluntarily, and quickly, seems I asked too many of the wrong sort of questions. So had to dash under the wing of another crew for protection.
Learned a LOT about VF, and the crews in general from my short stay.
Like I said, VF is the one to watch
(Members are leaving in droves, all asking to be kicked rather than leaving as that way they don't lose guns/health/protection)
My defection was fortunately paid for, so it's just a short stay in the hospital and a bit of gun training to do.

i used to play this game when it was called Omerta. back then there was a website devoted to listing the booze prices in real-time. is there any sort of resource for this newer version?

holy shit in a pot, they fucked around with the game. All my training is zero, but I still have my money and rank. And a big old WTF to the missions

Yeah, wtf did the game crash or something? I left myself training in the shooting range.. now I have no guns (but it says I'm at 60% training)..
Also, I have exactly 300k more money than I did last night.
edit: So this is a beta, and they are going to be resetting our stats all the time? ;(

this is officially what happened:
The money in game was getting to a ridiculous amount. A way to solve this would be to raise the amount of money required per item. However, it is only fair if everyone bought the same items for the same price. Everyones garages, weapons and protection was sold, and your money was returned (full price, not 65% like the Sell system). If you had a Drag or a Limo, you were given 50 points for each.
Arm Wrestling was also reset, since a lot of people got very strong using the "cheat program" that was around for a coupld weeks.
Hopefully everyone understands.
By the way,
Stealing cars from crews has been temporarily disabled until everybody has a chance to buy their garages again.
(Now would be a good time to leave your crew if you were planning on doing it. That way, you won't lose your Drag and Limo )

That's stupid. Understandable maybe, but it seems pretty pointless now. Most of these people have MILLIONS of dollars.. upping guns to 400k or something isn't going to slow them down at all. It just makes it that much more difficult for new people to move up.
It also makes the money prices look silly... I didn't live in the Prohibition era clearly, but I'm guessing a Doberman didn't cost 10 times as much as a brand new nice car.

Customers insist that the wine is from California, so make sure you don't try and get it from another state. I assure you that the payment for doing this will make the hassle well worth it. Damn, I had all the guns and protection before they reset it. Well, at least they gave us our money back. Does everybody start with the same mission (coast to coast booze run)?

Is it worth playing Blackjack, over lets say Roulette?
With blackjack, not only do you need to a good hand, but you deal with the odds of the dealer having a good hand and don't know what your next card is.
With roulette, I'm finding success playing red and getting a quick 49% chance to win.
I put small money down, but if it turns black succesively 3-4 times,I'll put a huge amount on red. I know statistically it doesnt matter, but I feel more in control of getting a huge payday..
Anyone want to chime in?
