Boring things you enjoy

Lying in a comfy bed. I can lie there for hours after waking or before falling asleep just daydreaming about things.

Also, showering. I take at least two a day since they're so enjoyable.

I love painting. Decorating that is.

It's got so much satisfaction. Physically seeing your progress both on the walls and in the paint your constantly refilling.

Love it.

Playing the WAR card game with a standard deck of cards by myself. One player is the left hand, the other is the right. I have no idea why I enjoy this every now and then.

Finding and deleting old/unused files on the computer.

Reminescing about old times :(. Life was so much simpler 10 years ago.

Staring at designs in tile/ceiling and seeing faces and different shapes I can imagine.

Making lists about everything and anything.

Sitting in silence and thinking.

Watching my cats sleep.

Arguing with people in my head.

And like others said, TVTropes.

Driving.
Daydreaming.
People watching at a cafe.
Dream Theater

I miss having loose change. I use credit cards now. I would go back to using normal cash, but it feels like I am robbbing myself by not using CC's for the reward points.

you might be able to save more money though. i've spent heaps less money now that i use cash for day to day things

Thats true, but still in the back of my mind I would be saying I would save even more money if I used CC's while spending less overall. The cashback adds up to such a significant amount over the year I would be stupid not to use it.

The actual act of writing or making music or drawing is, when you think about it, very very time consuming, monotonous and boring. But I love to do all those things.

Also, long showers...we're talking an hour if the heat holds up.

Watching the hourly movements of my (very small) investment portfolio. "Hey it just went up $4!" I don't plan on touching it for years so I don't know why I do it. Just something cool about watching my balance change by the minute, however small those changes are. I also like screening for stocks of companies I'll never buy and making fake portfolios in Google finance.

I like cleaning the kitchen. It's pretty small, so its manageable and not intimidating. I just put on some headphones and go to work. Doesn't take very long to have a spotless kitchen with everything put away in the right place, knives sharpened (I love sharpening knives), clean microwave, etc. I hate cleaning the rest of the apartment though.

My job. I do medical coding. I read a chart, then turn the diagnosis and procedures into numerical codes so they can be billed. It's mostly same ol', same ol', but I often get really interesting things across my desk (especially psych stuff). It's all very voyeuristic in it's own way and never fails to entertain me.
