Bought PS3 Minecraft, no code included. How do I get Vita version?

The guide on PSblog said that retail copies are supposed to have a code/voucher to get my free vita copy, but there was just a single piece of paper in the box and no code of any kind.

How am I supposed to get my Vita copy for free and my PS4 version for 5 bucks? I already tried playing it and syncing trophies but PS4 and vita versions on PSN still showing up as $19.99.

Thanks for any assistance!

The Vita copies have the code. Not PS3.

But yeah, the Vita copy is supposed to show up free if you've played the PS3 disc version.
Not sure about that part.

I had this same issue. Contact Sony online support and make sure you have proof of purchase and they should get you a code within 3-5 days for the Vita. Sucks I know, but only way to get the code.

I haven't bought ths yet, what us the cheapest way to get it on ps4 and vita? Buy the ps4 version or vita version? Is the physical vita version out yet?

Ah i see. Did you call, email or chat?

Also once you redeem the vita code does that also make the ps4 upgrade $5?

You misread OP:

"About to purchase PS Vita Edition (PS Store) from 10/14

On your PS3 or PS Vita, purchase Minecraft PS Vita Edition for $19.99. Once you have made the purchase, you’ll be able to download the PS3 Edition for free and upgrade to PS4 Edition for $4.99."

You have to purchase the PS Vita Edition, then you can upgrade to the PS3 for free, then for $4.99 you get to upgrade to PS4.

That's not exactly correct. He was supposed to get the Vita version for free because cross buy works both ways.

Read the actual blog itself:

1. He buys the PS Vita Edition from PS3 store or VITA Handheld store, then he gets the PS3 version for free and has the option of upgrading to the PS4 version for $4.99.

2. He buys the PS Vita Edition Retail copy, he then enters the code from the retail edition into the PS store and gets a free copy of the PS3 version and an option to upgrade to PS4 version for $4.99.

3. If you're an existing PS3 digital or retail owner, you will have access to the PS Vita edition on the PS store.

4. If you're an existing PS4 digital or retail owner, will have access to the PS3 and VITA version for free.
