Breitbart: F*ck Black People

Famed Gamergater and Tabloid writer Milo Yiannopoulos is one of the writers at Breitbart spearheading this smear campaign (not surprising) so I'm sure shit head Gators are behind this 100%.

If you look on Twitter at the accounts bombarding King right now, it's almost an exact mirror of what happened to women who were attacked by GG. Young accounts with barely any tweets who all follow each other tweeting out accusations furiously.

Why would GG care about BLM?

Haven't really been following since last year.

Because they're leaders (Milo, Baldwin, KOP, etc) are all racists as well as misogynists. Hell, they engineered multiple twitter hashtags to try and deflect accusations of racism, most notably #notyourshield.

If someone supports Gamergate, chances are they hate black people and women equally.

you serious?

i'm sereious. he clearly responded to some allegations and clearly avoided some.

did some people think he was black based on his family history? yes.

did he lie? dunno, but probably not.

did he correct them? probably not.

did some racist rednecks jump him? yes.

does it matter? #AllLivesMatter

Is this some kind of latent sexism thing, where Rachel Dolezal was claiming to have black father and when we find out her parents are white we crucify her, but when a man claims to be bi-racial and there's a claim that his father is white, everyone says "well it doesn't matter as long as his work is good?"

People believe anything Breitbart says because why, again? Their founder was a racist shit head who did his damnedest to shut down any program that helped poor people and/or black people (see: A.C.O.R.N.).

Nah, everyone accepted that Dolezal did good work, but then she went on the talkshow and interview circuit doubling down on her claims despite evidence to the contrary.

In this case the sources claiming that King is lying are all noted racists and liars... so...

At the moment we are not sure of the accuracy of the claim and either way unless brought up he hasn't done the awful things Dolezal had done.

The difference between Dolezal and King is that Dolezal's actual parents came out to reveal their daughter's fraudulence.

All we have on King are dubious sources from a conservative rag and a white supremacist, and screencaps of unconfirmed origins.

They're not even remotely comparable.

Nope. Matters if he lied. If he claimed he's black (and he seemingly has claimed to be mixed) then it's a problem. Then it falls to how much you believe the particular sources in this case. To many, Breitbart and the NY Daily News is far, far cry from an actual news source.

If he didn't claim to be mixed, then I don't really care. A white dude started #BlackLivesMatter? *shrug* But he did.

Dolezal also made posts telling black people how to act in movie theaters and chastizing black men for being in relationships with white women so...

but no, let's ignore all context and race to the bottom for reasons

He hasn't claimed to be bi-racial.

He hasn't tanned himself and worn a wig and lied about his ethnicity and family history

He hasn't trivialised what it means to be black.

Shaun is also dedicated to helping the #blacklivesmatter cause, Dozel did nothing but further her own career.

even Michael Pachter is occasionally correct.
No idea who that is and Google tells me nothing of his link to Breitbart. Can you elaborate?

I mean, I get the old Stopped Clock adage, but frankly anything from Breitbart should be taken with unhealthy levels of salt at the very best of times. Anything with black and/or poor people is not "the very best of times" when it comes to Breitbart. He's a pointed hat short of a KKK meeting, but he was still a racist fuckwad.

Actually, on that first point, he seemingly has.

Pachter is an analyst with a focus on entertainment software and hardware. Faceless is using the broken clock analogy.

Seriously people?

"Looks white, so he must be white."

You could find hundreds of examples that are even more extreme.

My sister has lighter skin than mine and blonde hair. Recessive genes and shit.

indeed. the Rachel Dolezal reveal was a slow burn. at first most were not miffed, but then as details leaked about some of her comments towards minorities and other stuff dripped out, the tide turned.

do you work for Breitbart or something?

Burden of proof lies on Brietbart and all they have so far is bullshit.

yes, they're a vile pit of sexism and racism
yes, they're using this to try and discredit or mute him.

i just happen to believe that he is white.
and? does it dilute the message to you? the movement?

it doesn't to me.

So he was jumped and almost killed by some racist rednecks because he was black but he's actually white?

Damn that must have sucked.

"No wait! Guys I'm one of y-"

for BLM to grow, they need to attract support from whites.

Last thing we need is white people accepting black people because a white guy spoke to them. Should be the blackest black guy doing the talking, with gold chains and baggy clothes, then let's see if those same white people would support them. You shouldn't deal with racism against black people by hiding black people behind a white guy. Let's see the same people say "I'm not a racist" by having Kanye telling them.

People are all for affirmative action for universities and all that, but when it comes to BLM or NAACP suddenly it's fine to not get some black people to do the talking and activism first and foremost?

There's plenty of black people that those organizations could rely on first. You can't say it's fine if the activists doing interviews and all that are white cause color doesn't matter: it matters for this issue, and if you want to confront society about racism put the people at the front that racists feel uncomfortable with, don't appease them with white people doing the talking.

Sorta drunk but who gives a shit? Do we need some guy of a certain skin color to tell us people of another skin color lives matter? It's only skin! Some people are pathetic

it doesn't to me.

What it does is distract people from the things that matter, like you know, black lives.

Yup. King just looks mixed to me. I've seen black people as light as him.

I mean if he lied and got funds to attend school. That's bad and that needs to be dealt with.

But like King said on Twitter. They don't care about his race. This is just an effort to silence him.

I don't give a shit what Breitbart is saying, because until proven elsewhere, I don't believe a word out of their fetid mouths.

that was pretty much my entire point. I have no idea who this person even IS. So I frankly don't care what his parentage is.

The part where he got a full ride scholarship via Oprah that's meant for blacks is the real problem here ... assuming he's not mixed.

No, the real problem here is that we're giving any credence and thought to a white supremacist news organization that has engineered a smear campaign against a noted BLM activist, regardless of his racial heritage.

It's 2015 and all it took to earn the destructive ire of racist pricks is advocating for Black Lives.

While I personally think this whole thing a petty distraction, I'm not going to say that I'm okay with people taking scholarships away from those that deserve it.
