Even if they were harassing her, do you honestly think they would try and hurt her and her baby? Putting her child in a potentially dangerous/fatal situation just to escape the Paparazzi is fucking stupid and irresponsible. You become famous, that's what you should expect. She's dealt with them before having her child. It's not like getting "harassed" by the paparazzi was something new to her. Regardless if her account of why she did it was true or not, she made one stupid ass decision.

She should be charged for driving with her kid that way. I have a daughters aged three years and ten months and driving with them that way is not only highly illegal but incredibly dangerous. As someone mentioned, the airbag deployment alone would kill the baby, but so would a relatively tame smack to the steering wheel, not to mention whiplash and other neck injuries, which baby car seats are designed specically to prevent.

My point is that even in a high speed collision, there'd be a chance of survival if her child were in the back seat, secured in a baby seat. In a mild fender-bender, if her airbag goes off, her child can easily be killed.

Sitting in a turn lane at a stop light doesn't exempt you from being in a major accident, either.
