Also, they seem to have a sense of humor regarding this at least lol

Gotta defend those poor poor developers who've released a shoddy port but already took the money.

i'd rather defend a bunch of human beings who are actively working toward correcting their own fuckups, than defend some dick putting in cheap shots on the internet calling them unilaterally shit at their craft because of a bad version
but then again this is video games and sometimes i forget just how fucking serious video games is

Not defending the situation with the game, however, to call them shit is being an ass.
They are communicating, and even admitting their struggle in a tongue and cheek way.
But carry on end user vs. developer warriors.
Being communicative is the bare minimum when you release a game in such a poor state, they either didn't test the game or thought that launching it in that state would be acceptable.
You think ANY dev THINKS putting out a broken game is a good idea knowing very well people like you and the rest of internet activists will be infinitely more toxic and detrimental if they do?
There are a host of other possibilities than the ones you listed. Maybe sony gave them a time limit and said it needs to be ready for this PS+ deal, Maybe the Publisher (Devolver?) gave them a time limit or forced them to release as-is. MAybe it DID get overlooked (accidents happen man) Or maybe the dev kits and PCs they used had the game running and they made the error of not testing consumer units...
But dont dwindle it down to Devs were malicious or stupid. theres other options too.
Downloaded the new update. Struggling to even join my brothers game now. Even more broken now perhaps.
How about single player, is the controller freeze fixed now?
It's coming

Booted the game after installing the patch...game is still broken, fuck this : (
Sony should take it down from the store, I feel for the people who paid/will pay for this piece of crap port.
Controller freeze seems to be fixed, so that's a start, I guess.
My only real complain is the HORRIBLE 2 SECOND STOP on the controllers every time you load a stage, i've died so many times because of it.
Other than that, i have enjoyed the game quite a bit with my brother.

"Hopefully mess up less in the future".
Keep in mind, AAC released flawlessly on time and with a staff of literally 3 people in their team. Yet even after an extra month the Broforce/Devolver people still can't get their act together.
The were both in the PS+ voteAAC and Broforce don't have anything to do with each other.
And they both run in Unity. The were both in the PS+ vote
And like you said, somehow AAC runs like absolute butter and Broforce ran (?) like ass.And they both run in Unity.
Sadly I'm no longer interested in playing the game, even if it did get fixed.
So the patch doesn't really correct the performance issues huh?
I've played it a bit and haven't noticed anything wrong. Do the issues come up later?
I already deleted it.
