New episode tonight, should be good. :D

Nice ep. I thought for sure
Larry was going to get it in the end
, I mean Richard Schiff died after getting introduced.

Epic dick move by the USA Network tonight, I missed the first showing of the finale so I caught the second showing, and about ten minutes before the end of the episode they ran a preview for the new episodes that showed exactly what happened at the end of the finale. Thanks guys. Nice timing.

Yep, happened to me.

:(

So judging from the episode commentary on the last episode,
there's another group sabotaging the burn notice people's op
.

Now we have to wait for ep. 10 to see how it pans out. :(

Top Notch Episode.

Like the Chase scene in the end and Michaels impersination of a drunky.

I can watch a whole episode with Tricia swimming.... hot!

One of the classiest shows out there, Jan too far away :(

I started watching the show and that puzzles me. Why would
another group go after the burn notice dudes. Aren't they CIA?

No kidding. Why such a long wait?

Also, does anyone else know why stations such as AMC, HBO, Showtime etc. have such short seasons'? Usually 13 episodes or less vs. 20+ for other stations.

If I had to guess, it's that network channels have more money over their cable brethren. So if they spend the money to give you quality, you won't get quantity as well?

I recently got into the series. It's dope.

I don't know why, but it's very unique. It's a "practical" action/spy show, if there is a such thing. It's not excessive.

I gotten the impression after season 1 that
they weren't CIA, they just instigated his burn notice. but even if they were, CIA has plenty of enemies.

I may get to meet Jeffrey Donovan. :D

There's a film festival coming up here in Florida and he may be there. If he does show up, I'll definately go and try and get pics with him. :D

BTW. Will USA be playing reruns of S1?

Where in Florida? I wouldn't mind meeting Jeffery Donovan :D

Just watched the entire first season and it's like a combination of MacGuyver and Baywatch without tits, but with worse acting.

Not even Bruce Campbell's presence gives it any redeeming quality. "So my lady friend...", "My lady friend...", " Mike, I'm having problems with my lady friend..." Come on... could they not think up more for Sam Axe's character!? The only better than mediocre scene was the way he talked back to the torturers at the end.

The chemistry between all of the characters was really bad, and I cringed everytime his mom was in a scene. Not only is she really hard on the eyes, it's like everyone's disgusting smoking auntie come back to life. And I swear in some of the episodes she would have to be a complete fucking numbskull to not realize what her son does. It's one thing if that's what they were going for, but spending that much time on a character that is not as up to speed as the audience is on what's going on is very irritating.

And his girlfriend. It's been said here a dozen times, but if you're going to have two characters on a show (his mom and his gf) that just constantly annoy the main character, then they aren't going to get very far. For instance, the" Shit we wrote ourselves into a corner... let's just have Mike randomly fall for her in this scene." scene was total bullshit. I've never seen a more forced relationship that makes no sense in any kind of film or television show ever.

Narrating a show is really cheap when writers think it's the only way they can communicate half the bullshit that's happening on screen. I'm watching a show, which is a visual medium. Pausing the action to describe what's about to happen is like having someone sit next to you spoiling each scene right before it happens. If you have to have explained to you every 5 seconds what is happening, it's like the creators are presuming you are an idiot. Watch a scene without the sound on and I'm pretty sure you can figure out what the fuck is going on if you have any interest in these kind of shows.

Along with the bullshit MTV like editing job of pausing and then cutting like it's in a dance club or something the entire time... ugh... I hope all USA network shows aren't this bad. This was a pretty cool concept that seems to have been shit on by very conservative TV executives. I'd imagine the creators are fighting an uphill battle every time they write an episode.

Now... Pushing Daisies... there's a good show.

The eight episode of this season has been my favorite so far, Michael has been a good guy since he got to Miami but it looks like he did some pretty bad things before he was burned. Loved when
Sam asked him if he wanted him to snipe the other spy.

Also, that season finale teaser was shit.

Are you watching the same show everyone else in this thread is? I didn't think so.

Want to help save your network, NBC? Move this show over from USA (as long as it doesn't lose any of the things that make it great in the process.)

Great news on the 3rd season

I just caught the last two episodes before the hiatus. Both were great! I'm looking forward to the next part of the season :D
