The event is WWDC, new MBPs are highly likely. Keep your eyes peeled on http://www.macrumors.com/.

The only hardware ever at WWDC was the Mac Pro introduction. One piece of new hardware in 12 years of the event. What could possibly make you think it's highly likely, especially since the only actual upgrade they could do to the laptops beyond cosmetics has been delayed past July?

It's like no one has ever figured out what Developer's Conference means. What place does a laptop upgrade have there? All we're likely to see are the new iPhone and its apps, and maybe a very early look at the next OS or some new tech they have.

Damn, my sister just bought a Macbook last week.

I suppose I could try to get a free Ipod touch, but... I've got a 30gb already, and I don't feel like shelling out $300 for possibly 8 weeks while I wait for my rebate. I dont know if I'd really use the ipod touch when I can fit all my music on my ipod comfortably.
