The next-gen engines weren't ready yet and they need to give themselves room to improve this generation. PES6 on 360 was definitely rushed out the door for release last year too, hence the multitude of online patches.
The 360/PS3 versions will likely be the same feature-wise, but I hear rumours that there will be exclusive six-axis tilting support to tilt the pitch like a pinball machine to get the ball in the net.
) had an awesome avatar with various 8-bit game characters appearing from a green Mario pipe. It inspired me to make a similar style animated avatar with an 8-bit Willy Wonka. At first I had the character just walking along with a generic scrolling background behind him but it was boring to look at so I trashed it. About a week later I was just about to create something entirely new when I had an idea that it might be quite funny to make the "level" the NeoGAF forum with various GAF memes as enemies and obstacles. That's how the first version of my avatar came about.
