Call of Duty Elite content schedule revealed

1 map in February.

If I was a COD fan I'd love to know stuff like this. I genuinely like that they have the DLC roadmap planned out and transparent, gives the fans something to look forward to.

Do you still have to pay for the content despite already paying for Elite? They make no mention that the content is free for Elite. $50 + cost of content would be downright crazy.

lol such small amount of content

1 map and max 2-3 maps a release?

better off just having map packs as usual bundled together

A huge resounding "meh," from me. Can't honestly care since I'm sure it'll cost about $15 for each map for non Elite people. :/

Just bundle all the SpecOp maps in one please. Thanks

I'd be completely okay with the survival mode getting new maps since it's mostly (so far) multiplayer maps just with AI on it.

Just no new co-op achievements, plz.

So every 3 months you get 4 Maps, 2 Missions, 1 Mode

So rather than paying $15 every 3 months, you just pay the $50 upfront, and get monthly updates

What if you don't enjoy 1-2 maps, then what?, at least with Map Packs you can pick and choose

Yeah this isn't that great deal, love how you will get 1 year worth of content = 9 months

The fuck happened to October, November, December?... Oh Right COD Yearly Update comes (BLOPS 2.0), can't have any override, so get Elite all over again for $49.99

10 maps, 10 missions, 3-4 modes. 50$. Ton of people playing it all the time. Works for me.

>> Better than all multiplayer games released last year for the cost of one game.

Games != movies. Games ~ sports. This running behind newer and newer content, if we already haven't realized, is a big joke. Repetition is good and our medium is proof. There's a a certain joy of playing a game you like, like playing basketball. It doesn't matter that the court, ball or people are all the same in most playthroughs. It may even be better because its the same.

I honestly don't know why other game companies take after this idea. I'm myself not a COD player, but I think there could be some good marketing out there for companies that do this.

Welcome to all Season Passes ever, this isn't specific to CoD.

So glad that I haven't bought into any of this season pass bullshit.

That said, is it possible to buy any of this content individually over XBL?

Wait, elite still has the MS exclusive shit? So you pay for a subscription and STILL get pushed to the back of the line? Fuck that.

Yes.

does it make sense? no.

but ms prob paid millions and will keep doing so, so ill just not sub and buy seperate, i only want maps anyways, i dont give a shit about spec ops

Seriously, it's not $50 it's $100 you already paid for it remember? If You're playing on Live it's $150 even. How is that good value?

I am on PS3. So its only 100$.

So for 100$ you get whats already on the disc - 16 more maps, 12 more missions and 10+ games modes. Now that you mention it, its actually better value than I thought. :)

I feel like Black ops had more content than all the Elite stuff does. I think im more interested in the mission stuff, especially if they add new achievements for them. I played a ton of Zombies.

Well if you were to buy all the maps/DLC separate you'd be spending even more. So yeah, it is a good deal.

That's ambiguous, but it irrefutably was notably more engaging and invigorating to play through.
