Call of Duty Ghosts or Black Ops 2?

Black Ops 2 by far!

I enjoyed the perk system in Ghosts a bit more than Black ops 2 but everything else just felt better in Black Ops2.

COD:Ghosts feels more like a game thats imitating COD.

My answer was definite after Infinity Ward released the abysmal Modern Warfare 3. I actually like Ghosts, but Black Ops II is better than both.

I'll let you know on Friday :P

The original Black Ops, for me, was the worst one, terrible game, they improved greatly with Black Ops 2, and it was quite colourful, which I enjoyed compared to the grey-feeling maps on Modern Warfare 3.

I do like IW CoDs though...

Id take BO2 over Ghosts by a mile so far, not a fan of getting shot in the rear all the time. Maps are a little too big and complex for their own good too.

As a max prestiger in every COD, allow me to offer you advice that will rarely be offered to you as a result of the fact that most people who still play COD started with MW2:

World at War is the only COD really worth your time. You wouldn't know this, because it's idiotically perceived as "just another WW2 game", but it is in fact the only COD that balances an SMG focus with intelligently nonlinear map design with good sizing and multiple flank routes / vantage points.

There are so many factors that go into how it feels so much more rewarding than other CODs to play (most rifles have tradeoffs, recoil is higher than average for a COD, ROF is lower than average for a COD, snipers aren't ease of use, there is a practical balance between SP / Jugg / Camouflage in most circumstances, etc.), and I could go on for hours about them, but it's really worth it. Ditch the modern CODs with their simplistically straightforward maps and Stalker-buffed laserbeam ARs, and venture to play a pitifully underrated game.

Casual COD fan. I got Ghosts for free vs. paying for Black Ops 2. If I had only gotten one of them, I'd have chosen Black Ops 2. I despise stupidly large maps with a bunch of nooks and crannies all around, and that's all that's in Ghosts. Extinction is probably better than Zombies but that's a sideshow to me anyway. I'm not one to complain about free things...but here I am. Not that great for mindless fun to me, whereas BLOPS2 definitely was.

Haven't bothered with a CoD campaign at all so I can't really talk about that. But I found BLOPS2 so much more fun than Ghosts. Maybe it's just a fatigue thing though.

Do you still play w@w?
If so, on which platform?
It is my favorite COD. I'm a legit 10th prestige and have almost 30 days on that game.
But on ps3 there are only a few hundred people left and most of them are hacker..

Interesting. I've been playing since Call of Duty 2 released on Xbox 360. Sadly, I didn't spend much time with World at War. I remember not giving it a fair shake, but I don't remember why. Maybe Treyarch will surprise us and do World at War II instead of Black Ops III.

Ghosts for Extinction.

Black Ops II for everything else regarding multiplayer.

This. Having played both now Black Ops 2 is the better game in terms of campaign and multiplayer when you compare to two. Better by a significant degree.. Hands down for me. Ghost's Extinction mode however is more enjoyable then Zombies I felt. It was really the only enjoyable aspect for me in the end.

Black Ops 1 was bestest.

I'm enjoying Ghosts, but I think BO2 is a bit better. I reserve the right to change my opinion if they patch the spawns and that changes the flow of the maps.

(note: I only play mp)

I just want a game where I have a chance to respond to getting shot, or at least some notification that I got shot.

The majority of the time, in ghosts, I just die. Screen didn't turn red, controller didn't rumble, I didn't hear anything... just dead.

That is the opposite of fun.

Halo and Killzone

If you are into MP, get BO2. The spawns are horrible in Ghosts.

If they fix the spawns, Ghost is a better MP games.

I liked the maps of BO2. There are a lot of varieties in map types in Ghosts. I like the game and think it's also very cheap at the same time. Spawn kills suck, camping on high ground is way OP, and the game itself takes some getting used to. I went into BO going positive every single match and with Ghosts I'm still averaging tied rounds or I'm always negative with kills (meaning I get more deaths).

I'm thinking of playing the entire campaign. Ghosts does have a more interesting campaign than BO2. BO1 campaign was great, so I think Ghosts is worth picking up. I just hope they get better maps and fix the lousy spawn kills.

Black Ops 2 had terrible lag compensation. I don't know how it turned out later because I ended up trading the console version in.

From a gameplay standpoint, they are polar opposites.

BO2 is fast arcade shooter where precision and aggressive play is rewarded and where one or two people can be a hero.
While Ghosts switches between fast and slow pace, and rewards much more heavily on a combination of strategy, hiding, and teamplay.

The winning strategies and tempo are wildly different.
