Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare |OT| Space Ghosts

Hey guys I'm looking to play with some people if they want. I'm an OBJ player mostly so my k/d suffers but I don't care because I have fun. I'm just tired of running around by myself all the time.

I'm really enjoying the MP so far, but I'm only like rank 35 right now. I haven't had it for long so I'm still coming to grips with some of the stuff they added in this release.

PSN : xinoart

I've been making similar posts as well, looking for people to play with in objective modes. I'll add you next time I'm on. What time do you normally play? I play nights around 7, 7:30 CST.

PSN: Hoodbury

Lol, they brought back No Idea What I'm Doing from ghosts. Gotta love being able to put optics on akimbo weapons. Too bad the HVR Gemini doesn't support them.

I've been super inconsistent in this game. Black Ops 3 I at least mostly went positive to slightly negative where in IW I have games where I drop a 2 k/d and immediately after go something like 6 and 15. Can't put my finger as to why however.

Finally got around to picking this up and playing it (after maxing out in the beta lol).

Is the drop rate for common chests still absolutely trash? I think I got one or two rares out of the 20+ boxes i opened in the beta, no legendaries or epics.

I was like that my first week but once i learned the nuances of the game a bit more im always hovering around 3:1 kd

Mind you I skipped blops3 so im new to the movement mechanics

Edit: I feel like that's always the case with a new cal of duty until you learn the maps and spawn points

Haven't they always been? If you're going for Epics, don't spend keys on commons. Rares give bonus salvage that commons do not.

Had a nice solo run on zombies last night. Got all the stickers/buildables and killed 5 brutes. Died at round 30 'cause I tried doing the main Easter Egg at that point, which isn't really possible. HVR Gemini got me through the whole thing for the most part. With extended mags, each SMG gets 45 shots. When packed, each gets 75 shots. And with the X-Quisite upgrade, each gets 99. Ate through my ammo really fast, but I always had enough to buy more off the wall.

Only a few hours into this as I picked up the legacy edition off the PSN Flash sale yesterday, but man, this campaign is really good. If it continues like this it'd easily be my favorite of all of the COD campaigns.

Hot damn this has been an amazing year for shooters, from all quarters.

Any other mode to Frontline just feels horrible to play and so random with player predictability. Been enjoying the game quite a bit in that mode.

Halfway through Prestige 3, I'm finally branching out from Frontline. I love that mode, but I do want to have a bit of variety like I did in BO3. And I guess I'd like to get those other "victories" challenges done. Plus there's a weird issue with Precinct (and Genesis, though that's more understandable) not being in the Frontline rotation, so I haven't been seeing all the maps in the game.

Mostly doing Kill Confirmed for now. I suppose I'll switch to more objective game modes when I start doing the Orion Mission Team. It helps to have Ghost as a permanent unlock.

Honestly, I wouldn't be against the next Call of Duty (if it was as chaotic as this one) ditching Ghost and making the UAV cost as much as the advanced UAV. Or making the regular UAV a late game unlock like they did with the care package this time. I'm just so sick of the UAV spam. With how fast you can move around the map, it just doesn't work.

When you open a Rare Supply Drop and get camos.

Kill Confirmed is my favorite playlist. What I don't understand though is why some people play it and don't bother with the tags. It's not a new phenomenon, but I'm guessing they're really mindful about their K/D and are using the tags as bait. I don't care though, I go kamikaze trying to collect those things; that chime is addictive.

Normally I don't like the Reaper payload much, but when you come upon a camping team from the side that isn't well defended, oh boy oh boy...

Reaper still has issues though. Look at how many tries it took to get the guy lying on the ground. I killed a dude who was 7 feet away trying to go for the prone guy. Robbed me of a quad feed (which are much harder to get than frenzy kills. No clue why the game requires more of them to complete the challenge).

If you buy this game new does it come with space zombies and the moon terminal zombie map?

Zombies in Spaceland is part of the main package, the pre-order thing was for a personalization pack. Terminal is a multiplayer map, not a zombies map. It's supposed to be a pre-order bonus, but there's a good chance you'll still get it's code in new copies. Plus they'll make it free for everyone eventually.

Is it just me or does this game run like absolute garbage on PC? I have every setting turned to the lowest it will go and it still can't hold a steady 60fps on my 1070, even in a fucking menu.

I'm bummed I bought it via NewEgg, otherwise I'd be requesting a Steam refund right now...

200 salvage away from buying pretty much any Epic variant I want. Any recommendations, guys?

Really hope the spawns in Terminal get reworked. Once a team starts spawning behind the security station, it's all over for them. Trapping a team there is laughably easy. It's especially bad in modes like Domination.

The campaigns ran decent on my 980 ti. MWR multiplayer was a trainwreck. Maybe they fixed it now, maybe they didn't.

Ugh... I thought I was struggling with the seti-com defense because I started it at round 29, but I tried again at round 10 and... nope, it's just ridiculously difficult. I can't even finish the first one, and there are supposed to be three of these. Too many zombies and too little health for the seti-com.

Has anyone accomplished this solo? I've tried with a sentry gun, a fireworks trap, a medusa device, the hoff at my back. The zombies just spawn too close and from too many angles to adequately defend this thing. My guns don't have enough ammo and my cryo grenades don't have enough range. Tried with the wonder weapon that makes zombies shoot off like fireworks and I spent the whole reserve and still failed. Just makes me not want to attempt the EE at all. Maybe I need a group, but I can only imagine it getting harder with more people.

The EE is actually supposed to be a lot easier solo, and should be done before the 20s from what I keep seeing.

The EE is even more tedious depending on the amount of people you're doing it with (like 4 bosses at the end).

Got the Invective, and holy cow, this thing is incredible. It's just... wow! The NV4 wishes it was this lethal! The Invective may kick from side to side a little bit, but overall it's so incredible accurate and pumps out so much lead that I don't think I'll bother using the NV4 again.

Finally finished the support streak challenges. Never running the advanced uav again. Why did they have to go and ruin my favorite streak? It can get shot down (strike one). It has to pulse like a normal UAV instead of showing a constant feed (strike two). And it lasts like 20 seconds (strike three).

Let's see do I want this shit AUAV or do I want my walking fucking tank for just about the same cost? Bring back the blackbird.

Performance-wice it's running really well for me. 1080p with 120% supersampling, everything maxed, and getting near locked 60 FPS. Radeon RX 480.

I have been seeing some crashes auto-minimizing after the latest patch though. And I can't finish the late-game level with
the crashed convoy
due to a "DirectX Encountered An Unrecoverable Error" crash.

I think Zombies has been made well compared to Treyarch zombies which was unforgiving. I find myself reaching higher levels alone

I'm thinking of getting it just for the campaign, for $36 (current humble deal minus 10% for monthly subscribers). Worth it for this price? I'm kind of confused it's already 33% off, normally COD never goes on sale so quickly. So I'm thinking it might be headed for Ghost's bargain bin prices.

After getting R3K-Counterbalance variant for the 4th time in a row as a duplicate (good god) and the NV4-Vigilance again, finally got a damn epic, the R3KT. As a full auto version of the base R3K, It kind of feels like the Volk but the recoil is not as bad.

Seriously, fuck duplicates.

It can't be ruined when the AUAV was always like that to begin with. ;)

I'm about an hour and a half into the campaign, and I'm having mixed feelings. On one hand, I'm surprised at how genuinely likeable the characters are, especially Ethan, my cool robot buddy. On the other hand, it has the same problem I have with a lot of modern CoD campaigns, where it doesn't feel like you have much agency in the gameplay. It feels like the game is more focused on showing me pretty scripted sequences than actually letting me play it. And when I am playing it, it's usually pretty easy, and doesn't let me do stuff without some kind of scripted setpiece for long. Not to mention, regular difficulty is just way too easy.

Playing CoD4 Remastered alongside IW just accentuates these problems, because CoD4 has none of them. It has much better pacing, almost never takes you out of gameplay for story reasons, and is a lot more challenging on the same difficulty level.

I'm going to keep playing IW for sure, but so far I am somewhat disappointed after seeing all of the praise it's getting.

I was ready to throw in the towel cause the spawn system is garbage, then I find frontline. With spawn points out of the way I'm finally having fun with the game and have a chance to learn the maps.

The destroyed city map, can't remember the name, is the best in the game. It has a great flow that goes hand in hand with the player movement. Doorways and lines of sight, for the most part, feel fair and balanced.

wow the image quality on ps4 pro on a 1080p TV is awesome, I hope more games will be like this in the future. the image quality of battlefield 1, shadow of mordor and the witness is disappointing in comparison. titanfall 2, ratchet and clank and infinite warfare impressed me the most until now regarding image quality.
