Call of Duty "Know Your Enemy" Teaser

I want a kick ass military campaign again. No exo suits, no crazy jumping. Just boots on the ground, old school CoD campaign with all the crazy shit going on.

As for the BO3 campaign, it was easily the worst for me out of all of them. It started off awesome with the cool scenarios with the dude from SVU but all down hill after that. The flashback was my favorite part but overall shit. Shinobi summed it up well.

Lets hope IW is bringing it this time around after Ghosts

I still get angry when I think about the Black Ops III campaign. I mean, it's been 5 months and I'm still not over it. It was a very special kind of awful.

I appreciate going into Infinite Warfare knowing its campaign could not possibly be worse than last year's. CoD4 Remastered also feels like reparations.

This is going to be so bad.

When this is the first element of your game you decide to show we're in for another New Infinity Ward shit-show.

Considering this is space based...crazy jumping and abilities will stay.

I'm gonna laugh if the MP base drops but BO3/MW1R remains active

Damn while playing Nuk3town now this is always playing on the big screen on the center map and you can hear it everywhere.

I'm going to make a guess on what the next game is about.

Infinite Warfare, as in infinite universes. There will be time travel and all that shit. Gameplay will change from Modern Warfare to Black Ops to even the shitty ones. They're all universes, like comic book universes.

Eventually, theyll make a Dota of all the heroes in these universes. Kevin Spacy, Trent Reznor, Doge, Ghosts. All of them. You defend Nuketowns at each home.

Call of Duty: Heroes of Warfare.

Damn i would play the BO2 heroes all day. Can't even decide between Menendez, Noriega and Avenged Sevenfold.

Do we have any evidence about exo suits or something like that? I know the game will take place in the future but that doesn't mean that the "exo" movement is required

I'm one to always call out hyperbole when I see it. I despise it. But I have no problem saying Black Ops 3 was easily the worst campaign in the series, and left me extremely disappointed given I hold Black Ops 1 and 2 in such high esteem.

Everything from the performance, to the bad voice acting (the main character's VO is embarrassing), the cringe worthy script (candy bar! Train go boom, etc), some of the most monotonous missions in the entire franchise, barely any cool set pieces, and an ending that draaaaagged and draaaagged, it's not hyperbole. I'm not kidding, I was actually thinking "Is it almost done?" towards the end. I've never felt that with these games. In terms of Call of Duty, it was a major letdown, and this coming from somebody who everyone says "but you like everything shinobi!" to.

It's stuff like this that has made me not even bother with this campaign.

I loved BO1/2's campaign.

Yes, I liked the concept of Black Ops 3 story....but they really tried too hard on having you have a million skills. It was a pain in the ass and the story didn't help at all.

But yes, the story outcome...........train go boom

So take all of this with a grain of salt because this me being curious and riding on the hype train

I was lurking the InfiniteWarfare subreddit and came across a post that linked this twitter account: https://twitter.com/xsilentcommando. Some of the posts for the last few hours makes it seem like he knows a but about the new CoD(but again take it with a grain of salt).

First I saw tweets that have what he claims to be screenshot teasers that we haven't seen anywhere else. They're mostly dark and blurred and with the power of photoshop the CoD IW logo coule be easily made but what do I know:

Another tweet I notice contains an image which I assume is from one of the new posters placed on BO3 maps but I have yet to see it posted:

Then there are tweets where he starts talking about the contents of the teaser we saw earlier today. He says the guy in the teaser is called Corporal Shank(low ranking officer that seems to have a big role, bit of a stretch but okay), he says the PMC, from MW3, will make a return but "in a far fetched way" , and then say we could be seeing a reveal trailer today(after he already tweeted out the teaser) "within the next 6 hours" of that tweet being made(so 2 more hours 2 go."

So who knows.

TLDR: I found a twitter that's probably posting bs but speculation can be fun though

Same here, it's the first COD game I haven't and probably will never platinum just because I can't fathom the campaign grind. I already beat it on realistic, but knowing how many more times I'd have to play through it just for the kills, can't do it. I really is a special kind of terrible, lol.

As of now the player suit looks very normal compared to AW and BO3.

So there isn't anything from the artwork that would suggest parkour-style movement from the character.

Yes that is exactly what I was thinking thank you! a futuristic game but with a focus on a more grounded combat and 0 exo/parkour movement doesn't sound bad at all

Yeah. Sounds like some lore stuff like Winslow Accord in BO3. parkour movement is not ruled out, soldier from BO3 dont look like they wear exos aswell. Quiet frankly it would be wierd if there was no parkour movement, its very obvious that its here to stay.
At least this time we get best of both worlds, with cod 4 remastered

Yeah but the Titanfall pilots look pretty normal, so parkour is definitely still an option.

Yeah, it could definitely still be in there. I just think they run the risk of them bleeding together if they're all going for futuristic settings and the same gameplay-style. Back when it was just IW and Treyarch they did try to separate themselves. IW moved to modern times while Treyarch played with the past. This led to the games having a very different look and feel. So even if the setting is similar, without EXO movement it would mean the basic gameplay would be very different compared to AW and BO3.

Never have been a huge of CoD, but I have to admit, that the campaign in MW 1/MW 2 was pretty good. And I kind of miss a CoD like this on the market. I tried BO3 and it was a huge mistake to buy the game. They should stop the titanfall copycat and future stuff. Titanfall is way better, why would I need? Going back to the roots would be a good thing.

Here's Black Ops 3's teaser

Here's Modern Warfare 2's teaser

Here's Call of Duty Ghosts' goofy teaser

I'm just saying that I'd hope for something more slick than a character rigidly talking to the screen for over a minute for the first showing of the game. Something cool.

I anticipate a dud, but we'll see.

Blops3 teaser was depressing in retrospect. We all thought we'd get a continuation of the Mason storyline. Still hurts...

And yeah, Ghosts' is still goofy as hell. Looks like it's a commercial for that Ultimate Warrior tv show.

BO3's depends on the character.

Seraph for example doesn't look like she has an EXO suit but she has the movement.

I loved and hated special abilities at the same time......some classes just seemed so unbalanced.

Hoping for a pure grounded CoD, playing the original MW atm and its so nice not having to wall run and boost around constantly to have fun.

Black Ops 2 is still my all time favorite and most played CoD

Nope, you got that wrong *loads up flamethrower*

No CoD was ever balanced. Thats why they introduced the bans and picks for esport last year. Having imbalanced streaks, guns and equipment, it really doesnt matter if the specialists on top of that are balanced or not.

I'd like custom characters back instead of full matches of clones, especially if the winner circle returns.

Whilst the BO3 campaign isn't anything amazing, the hyperbole surrounding how bad it is on this website is ridiculous.

As someone who loves every CoD campaign because they're fun, yes even Ghosts, I thought BO3's campaign was shockingly bad, shockingly.

Bad from fun prospective? Story? or both?

Black Ops 3 is the first call of duty game I didn't play week 1 of release since CoD 3....

This was posted in another thread about the teaser

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aHl0h6nHBNM

Call of Duty story and character dialog is one of the last things I would say what the series is good at but holy crap...

There were elements of the Blops 3 campaign I liked... but it was dissapointing overall, more so coming from Advanced Warfare which was great. Also it shouldn't have been called Black Ops, when the connections to the previous games were so tiny.

It's MP is the best in a long time and Zombies has been really ramping up. Honestly I wish the zombie writers had wrote the campaign, since there was more genuine emotion in the Zetsuen no Shima Easter egg ending cutscene, than all of Black Ops 3 SP.

The BO3 campaign was bad, in fact it was the worst campaign I've ever played in any game, ever. I will never buy anything from Treyarch again. They are the D team now. Everyone involved in that project should be ashamed of themselves.

edit: well maybe I went a tad too far, but yeah, that is a hot pile of garbage, holy crap.

hardcore player....you aint getting close with that flamethrower XD, but holy shit at hive on HC.....everyone uses it lol

You know what, if they do.....do the specials again....just let us select it as a loadout. Hell maybe the special is part of the pick 10 or something in the next one.
