While peruseing this ebay storefront a couple things caught my eye, but I'm wondering if it can be trusted for quality as it's located in Australia and if these are official items.

I'm interested in the Kingdom Hearts Sora watch and the FFVIII watch... me likes a lot

Help?

I wouldn't say they are a scammer.

They appear to ship the products from Hong Kong. So feasibly they could live in Australia and have products that are bought and sold in Hong Kong.

Makes sense to me.

Hong Kong is a breeding ground for pirated goods of all sorts, due to a well-known inability to persecute bootleggers on the international level. No Ebay listings from HK can be trusted. I would hate to live there and have to try and sell legitimate goods.. :lol

You can trust that they will ship the item to you. However, customer service and how satisfied you will be when you get the items, that's a different issue. Chances are these items will be fairly low quality.

Why does it matter if it's a bootleg Kingdom Hearts watch? No one cares and it's only 20 bones.

I dunno. It's your call.

Some time ago I ordered some GBA bootlegs from a Hong Kong Ebay store. 2 out of 3 worked perfectly, and they offered to exchange it, but I was too lazy.

I think you can trust them, but don't expect official items.

This is an invaluable resource - http://www.toolhaus.org/

Make sure you check not only the negative/neutral feedback given by the buyers, but also the negative/neutral feedback left by the seller, because it's important to know if the seller handles this sort of thing professionally.

After reading the negative/neutral feedback, if you decide to shop with him, make sure you get the shipping costs prior to bidding, and if you are buying more than one item, ask him if he combines for cheaper shipping.

There is a feedback entry there about a couple of items being seized by Australian customs on the way in. Australian customs are very strict. However it seems the seller reimbursed the buyer.

99.6% is not a bad feedback % at all however if you go ahead and buy, be aware that the watches may well look and feel kinda cheaper and shoddier than the impression of them you might be getting from the pics.
