Mmmmm

You know who else peaked around this time? Jim Carrey, the comedian. Yes, I appreciate his dramatic roles later in his career, but he was never funnier than his back to back to back turns in Ace Ventura, The Mask, and Dumb And Dumber. Compare those with his latter day "comedies" like Bruce Almighty. Sheesh.

What, you didn't like Liar Liar?
Hell that was cool. So was Me, Myself, and Irene.

Didn't even know it was her until I saw it on TV recently while channel surfing. "Wait, is that... Cameron Diaz? Holy."

I get the same feeling when seeing Lindsay Lohan in Mean Girls/Freaky Friday (although Diaz isn't a druggie/drunk). :(

She was the Scarlett Johannsen of the 90's.

Also, the clips need more Mask in them :p
This is pretty spot on, this is definitely her peak, but I can't believe some of you guys are acting like you didn't find her attractive in other films..Namely, Something About Mary

Something about Mary came out only 2 years after The Mask. So yes, despite the weight loss, she was still youthful and vibrant in it.

But that was 16 years ago.

Wow, this is odd. I just yesterday watched the Mask with a younger cousin, I hadn't watched it since the 90s when I was his age. Watching it again brought back many memories, though I remember thinking 'wow i can't believe my mom let me watch this every day back then'. Totally don't remember the scenes with her being in them, guess it's the koodies and all that. Oh, but the movie was pretty silly all-together, definitely something kids would love though.

AMERICA'S SWEETHEARTS??
Oh wait, nevermind. I meant Charlie's Angels :P

I remember pausing the Mask VHS tape and forwarding it a frame at a time to try and see her panties during the dance sequence. Good times!

That said, I don't exactly think she's become ugly. Still has a killer body.

Like I said, she became a fitness nut and lost a lot of weight, stripping her of most of her feminine charms.

Some dumbass agent probably told her she needed to lose a few to become a leading lady. Too bad, because Mask-Diaz is voluptuous in the good way, and not in the fat way, like Christina Hendrix.

Oh Solo :(

I saw mask in theatres like 20 times because I was madly in love with her. :lol

The power women have over men is extraordinary.

I remember being transfixed by her beauty as a kid. Sometime around Something About Mary she really started to deteriorate to the point where I would almost call her ugly now. Not sure when she crosse the line. I thought she was cute in the first Charlie's Angels if I remember correctly.

This is fine and all, but since she isn't much of an actress I sort of forget she exists till she pops up in the trailer for another shit movie. She seems nice though.

Ma ma...

I watched this movie for the first time in probably ten years last year, and as a young boy I wasn't able to fully appreciate a fine woman. The reaction in this thread is pretty much what was going through my mind when I watched it last year. She is about as close to perfect looking that a woman can be. Holy fucking fuck, at that gif too. Jesus god almighty. Life isn't fair until I get a time machine and go back to 1994 and tear her apart.

Man, it's been so long since I've seen the mask that I barely remember what the movie was about, let alone that she was in it.
Man, she's hardly recognizable now to what she was back then. Damn.

I liked her in ThereÂ’s something about Mary, The Holiday (maybe because she has sex with Jude Law) and What happens in Vegas (maybe she has sex with Asthon Kutcher).

Remembering the mask got me thinking of Jim Carrey again. God I love his movies, I think i'm going to try and watch Fun with Dick & Jane tonight, anyone remember that? So old it had to do with Enron or something, don't remember too much.

See and I remember that movie as being towards the end of his career.

edit: I know he's still doing movies.
