It is confusing going out to eat lately as many places now have "well done" and "well well done." They essentially made "well done" like "medium well" used to be, and everything else is down on grade.
I never tried medium rare steaks, I've always chose it to be cooked well done. I remember going to this burger place and I thought I ordered a well done burger, but when I took a bite, it was juicy. I checked and it looked kind of pink in the middle. So I ordered a medium rare or medium well burger, and it was delicious. One of these days, I need to try out medium rare steaks. However for chicken, it has to be cooked very well with no signs of raw at all.
"Excuse me, I believe you gave me a burger instead of the hockey puck I ordered."lol ok this made me crack up. "i thought i told them to make it suck but then it didnt!" not trying to rag on you tho, bro. glad you came over #TeamRare
Rare or nothing.
I don't know how anybody can eat pink hamburger.
Pink post-meat. It's pink!
USDA changed pork recommendation to 145. Thats where I cook it.Pork - Well done
Beef - Rare
This chart doesn't even make any sense with the definitions... Especially given they're not even using the proper definition for rare in this scenario. English is contextual, not static.
well done steak is for people with broken taste buds
Eat the meat anyway you like it.
And if you like it well done, at least you'll have less worries about food poisoning.
YUMMY
I want to vomit just looking at that.Mmmmmmm pink and rare![]()
hamburgers: medium well
Steak: medium
Pork: well done (I don't want worms, man)
Chicken: fried
I hate meat in general, (cept chicken) and seeing it pink on the inside just adds to my disgust
Oh, and rare chicken is a bit odd because of salmonella and all, but rare pork? Fuck that, I don't wanna get trichinosis.
First the worms eat your muscles, then they eat your BRAIN.
