Can Superman bend a bar of Adamantium?

Mags is not be fucked with

here's one I barely remembered from early in the Xmen run- took me a bit to find it. I'm not entirely sure when this is, but Jim Lee is still drawing it, and fabian cortez is still there so this is probably somewhere between Xmen 1 and Xmen 4.

Helicopters fire missiles at Magneto, he easily stops them in midair and dismantles them, despite the missiles clearly being made of plastic and molded ceramic composites to reduce/eliminate their vulnerability to magnetic attack.

Magneto is HILARIOUSLY OP.

What the hell is going on in this strip?
The Avengers have to blow up an alternative earth, the resident superheroes take exceptions to this. So Strange summons a eldritch abomination to kill them.

Why haven't him and Graviton fought?

serious answer? probably because the Xmen and Avengers lines were separate for so long. they barely acknowledged each other outside of the occasional crossover.

Hall would win that matchup though I think.

Probably would have to happen on an alien world.

Sounds like a Contest for Champions

If superman squeezed a bar of that shit, it would disintegrate or turn into dust. He truly has unlimited strength, which is why people hate him. He could probably fart on vibranium and destroy it too.
Shit, even Goku (who's weaker than Superman) would destroy that shit with his bare hands.

They say indestructible because they haven't tested it against something that could destruct it.

I'm being serious. Comic book serious

Dr. Strange summoned a horrific world eating monster from the depths to murder the Great Society, because he's desperate, and two Earths are about to collide and blow the fuck up.

Didn't cyclops melt off wolvies hand?

Not exactly. An alternate timeline wolverine lost his hand (but somehow not his claws on that hand) by stabbing Cyclops in the eye.

As we all know, Cyclops' eyes are actually portals to an alternate dimension full of energy that exists solely for Cyclops to punch other people in the face by glancing at them.

Cyclops lost an eye/portal when this happened, wolverine lost a hand but not the claws. No one knows how since it all happened off panel.

Depends on which supes were talking about slay.

What's tougher Nth metal or adamantium.

No one that can be taken seriously, legitmatically still recognize Pre Crisis SUperman.

It is a bit of trivia, only left there to laugh at.

Like Great Darkness Saga Darkseid.

You can probably also make the argument that it is possible to rip Wolverine apart (ala Ultimate Hulk vs Wolverine), just not break his individual bones.

I only recognize the solar energy theory for Cyclops.

You can't. That trick only worked for ultimate wolverine. Prime universe wolverine was explicitly NOT vulnerable to being pulled apart as the process that made him was different.

And yes it's been tried. AOA wolverine should have undergone the same process as prime wolverine, since the timeline diverged after he was created.

If I recall correctly either Ultimate Wolverine just didn't have adamantium on his spine (which makes no sense) or Ultimate adamantium just sucks.

But if Supes can fuck with shit on a molecular level then of course he could mold adamantium.

Can Wolverine's adamantium claws penetrate Supergirl?

Probably draw blood but don't do real damage.

Good news! They're compatible!

Solar energy provides the power that opens the portals, but the energy itself is extra dimensional.

Last I checked anyway...but who can keep track.

You keep referencing that, even though ti comes from a handbook that also has The Thing listed at Class 5

Ben Girmm's bowel movements are class 15 at least

Man he jobbed to Doomsday. Piss Hulk off and that dude would be looking like how Hulk had Black Bolt looking during World War Hulk. Magneto would murk S-man if he has iron molecules in that Kryptonian blood. Supes ain't really bout that life.

speed tho

though Superman would only need Constantine to move his fingers for a second and he'd be done

DC has their own super metal, Promethium

Why no talks about it? It's what Cyborg is made of, damn answered my own question.

Remember Trunks in his bulky, slow Ultimate SSJ form? And remember how Goku explained that that SSJ2 would keep the muscle tone down and allow you more mobility with the increased speed? Now imagine Hulk so furious he gained super speed...beyond scary.

Pretty much superman lol

I like that Hawkman's kid had some common sense and made whole suit of armor instead of some corny wings

I Guess he just wanted enough to get the regen magic buff. And plot device I guess.

Hulks speed scales right along with his strength. Hulk is not slow at ALL and even 60s hulk would routinely run across the desert at hundreds of miles per hour.

This is why hulk showing up is a national emergency but juggernaut is a minor inconvenience

Exactly. I'm just saying if he got up to those Flash levels... My dude would collapse the speedforce lol.

Even if he couldn't bend bonded adamantium he should be able to heat it up to a high enough temp and then bend it. I would like to think Adamantium is what it is described as , unbreakable but i suppose its more like virtually unbreakable. It would go straight through Supes if wolverine could ever land a hit on him though, pop that little boy scout right in the heart. He can't land a single hit on him though.

I dunno. I remember Superman tanked a blast from a machine Reed Richards had made that was meant to cut through adamantium.
