More sports games should have real-time intros. I loved how custom edits carried over to them.
This will always be the best. Seeing it for the first time back in the day was unreal.

I would LOVE another Def Jam. And not that fucking rhythm based shit we got this gen either.

So am I crazy or does anyone else remember an announcement or maybe it was a rumor that THQ were going to release basically a version of No Mercy on WiiWare with the current roster? This was back in '06.
I think it might have been in a rumor mill thing in EGM, but man when I read that I was so stoked at the idea, even if it was with the current roster and not the old one.

Two things:
1. Def Jam: Fight for NY was AMAZING. I don't even love rap. Didn't matter. That game was so much fun and so well designed.
2. A WCW Revenge or WWF No Mercy remake, or just something made with the No Mercy engine, with polished graphics/sound, would blow my mind. I could play that for another 15 years or whatever until they made another. So much fun.
Oh, and here's an extra third thing: I have Fire Pro Returns. It's cool. Getting hundreds of amazing CAWs is fun. But it just doesn't have the pick-up-and-play playability that the AKI games had and so it falls short for me.
