Can we talk about Good Mobile Games for Android?

The Kingdom Rush series is some of the best tower defense games in the genre.

Besides that, Android gaming is best for emulation. I mainly just play Game Boy and DS games on my Note 10.

Yes this series is dope but the latest Kingdom Rush (Vengeance?) was GARBAGE.

I haven't played the Friday the 13th game but it looks very similar to Slayaway Camp. Check this game out, it is fantastic.

Same devs. It's practically the same game except with a Friday the 13th skin. That and Slayaway camp is a paid game while Friday the 13th is free with ads. They give away Slawaway Camp for free every now and then though.

I saw someone say something about iOS, there are a ton of top tier games that are really unique and fun to play these days. With Apple Arcade I've been cycling through a lot on my iPad. Controller support really makes this thing a fun little console!

here's what I've playing most lately.

I've wasted quite a bit of time on Gems of War. It's sort of a spiritual sequel to Puzzle Quest which I loved to play back in the day. The Quest was another one I liked, especially for its ability to play in portrait mode on the phones.

Bahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha...

There is no such thing as a good mobile game. 😐
my post just above yours begs to differ. ThatGameDev created a spiritual successor to Journey that is just on par with a console game. not to mention it's free on top of that.

I didn't expect when getting an iPad that I'd come to think of it as a mobile console in its own right but if you're getting sick of playing the same recycled gameplay mechanics with different skins then there's a lot of cool "indie"-ish games on the store and for the price points and performance the iPad pro delivers you can't beat them.

Ports: the Total War games, PUBG, BioWare RPGs, Doom, XCOM, The Bard's Tale, Minecraft, Door Kickers, Titan Quest, Carmageddon

Native:
Call of Duty is fucking incredible
TES Blades was recently overhauled and is a great dungeon crawler
Fallout Shelter
Night of the Full Moon, Underhand, Card Thief and Card Crawl are good card games
Vampire's Fall and The Quest are good RPGs
Eternium is the best Diablo clone

Emulator: Doom RPG, Puzzle Quest

Have quite a few games I intend to finish at some point. FGO as I love the Fate universe, Granblue Fantasy with its huge amount of fully-voiced story, Star Ocean Anamnesis, Azur Lane, Honkai 3rd (Bayonetta-lite), the Idolmaster games, the new Love Live rhythm game and tons more.

The last week though I've been consumed by Loveplus Every. Playing that on my main phone, my old phone and an emulator on PC simultaneously, as the game locks you to only 1 girl and locks you out of other girls events (DS/3DS games had 3 save slots).

I need to finish a few of them, if I can, just to free up some time for other hobbies...

What I have...

Shattered Pixel Dungeon
Dungeons of Chaos
Lone Wolf Saga
Fighting Fantasy classics
The Quest
Neo Scavenger
Pathos
Exiled Kingdoms
Ananias
Day R Survival

If you like decent pocket RPGs:
-Final Fantasy Dimensions 1 & 2
-Final Fantasy All The Bravest
-The three Steven Universe games (Attack the Light, Save the Light & Unleash the Light)
-Anything by Kemco (Dragon Sinker is great).

@SLoWMoTIoN has already brought forth the ultimate in mobile gaming... the thread should've ended after his post tbh.

Anyways, I love Kairosoft games like Game Dev Story, Home Run High, Shiny Ski Resort, Tennis Club Story, Pool Slide Story... I really enjoy playing them. However, they're not made for Android/iOS smartphones, they're ports from the ever popular DoCoMo/Softbank flip phones in Japan which shows, as they aren't optimized for touch controls.

What you want? A cookie? I'm speaking for myself and solely for myself. There is no mobile game I can play after about a week.

Inbento

I dont like to play action games on mobile. I don't consider screen only a good control scheme.

So what I play on my phone tends to be more relaxed, puzzles or simple games.

I absolutely love inbento. It's a simple yet beautiful puzzle game.

I play lots of Dissidia and Another Eden (which recently had a very cool Persona collaboration). They're great games.

Out of your games I only have BDO and CoD. TGB finished it on Xbox 100%

do you understand the point of a forum? what, did you want the thread closed after your post? get lost.
Y'all can post and discuss whatever y'all want, for however long y'all want, but I and many others are free to disagree. I'm not asking or even demanding that y'all shut up or end end the discussion. What I'm saying is; I've played countless mobile games, and I generally don't like them. And that's my opinion based on my taste, and you or anyone else can't change my mind about that.

It's not like I'm going around trying to change people's mind and get them to agree with me, like many people on these boards.

I bought both Baldur's Gate: Enhanced Edition and Baldur's Gate 2: Enhanced Edition for my tablet, today. They look and plays great, too.

Sucks they took down Re-Volt, oh well. Would love to see Top Gear 3000 come out for Android some day.

Definitely was thinking about buying Tetris, but unfortunately the game isn't compatible with my Android controller.

Alien blackout Is free today

Nice, will download.

I believe that 80 % of all mobile games are trash.

You have like 5 % of original android games (some of them may be even good) and 15 % are ports of already great franchises from console gaming but even here they tend to fuck it up.

I agree the only mobile game I have really enjoyed was dead space shame it can't be played easily now.
