Can you believe how much air time the porn lawyer got?

You know why he's on all the time, right? Because he has first-hand info on a lawsuit involving the President and doesn't give an actual singular fuck about making any of it public.

He does journalists' jobs for them.

Now what's the next step in your master plan?
Can you believe how much air time the reality TV personality running for Pres. got?

That's the polarization nowadays, there are likely many similar examples on Fox News or other places as well, where a news network chooses to repeat a subject over and over ad nauseum.

Does it really matter though? Paying attention to it just further fuels it.

I'm not that particularly interested in the story (the behavior is not even remotely surprising), but I can understand why it's news - the President using a slush fund to pay-off his old mistresses is a juicy story in any era of politics.

Should I be outraged over the coverage? Has some sense of journalistic decency been violated? Meh. It doesn't pass the Obama litmus test - if Obama was discovered to be paying off porn-stars prior to his Senate campaign, it's unbelievable that Fox news would not be running it 24/7. Welcome to cable news.

As someone who was friends with him in Junior High, I'm actually happy for him. We used to eat lunch together in 7th grade (basically because no one else liked either of us) and we'd argue about politics a lot. I was a Reagan fan, he was not. But he is a decent enough guy (or was) and must be in hog heaven right now. This is like his childhood dream he's living.

Kinda embarrassing for CNN/MSBNC to give him so much time, though.

Its an interesting story, but I never thought it'd affect Trumps poll numbers much. Everyone knows he's a rich guy who likes women, so it'd be a pretty safe bet to have assumed he paid to sleep with them.
Of course the Leftist media were going to go on about it, but most people would have assumed that too.

Are you really that surprised that this is a big story?
Even if you are a devout Trump fanboy, you must be able to see why this is a juicy news story..

Yeah I'd much rather they go on about his choice of mustard or the color of his suits

Trump taming some strange only strengthens him...

Considering Avanetti is often dominating the air waves by constantly shitting on Trump and his cronies i'm not sure it's doing anything for Trump except opening up spots on his legal team. Certainly strengthened Avanetti's status though.

To be honest, the real issue is whether Stormy Daniels and her daughter (as claimed) were threatened by someone representing the President.

How dare the "leftest" media report on a sitting US president paying a porn star for sex and keeping it hush. It's like Idiocracy has come true.

Its a big story because that money was paid during the campaign to keep politically damaging information from being public, so it can be considered an illegal campaign contribution. Not that the "law and order" party will actually care about campaign financing laws, so long as it benefits their team.

But really, the Stormy Daniels affair is going to be small beans compared to this Elliot Broidy story. Its only a matter of time before journalists uncover concrete evidence that the $1.6 million Cohen paid to Shera Berchard for an abortion/hush money was on behalf of Trump, not Broidy.

Congrats: you successfully embodied Alex Jones all by yourself while trying to sound superior to everyone else in the thread.
Boy NeoGAF offtopic has slid straight into the dumpster.

Something something the reptilian deep state will open portals for the interdimensional child molestors to drink the blood of the american youth etc etc

If the grab by the pussy didn’t sink him this doesn’t do any damage and yet this man is on the tv all the time...no one cares...

Eh, I'm sure it's getting decent ratings otherwise he wouldn't keep getting gigs. Mostly just for the gossipy side of things probably, though.
What's more interesting to me is that the Trump camp still doesn't seem at all comfortable with this situation. Even his Tweets about it haven't been quite as... passionate as usual.
