Can you remember the first game you beat?

I think it was either Pokemon Silver or Frogger 2 on the gameboy color. Super Mario Bros. was my first game ever but I don't remember actually beating it.

Probably Granny's Garden.

A lot of games I played as a kid were arcade games that didn't really have endings.

Actually I can't recall the exact game, but I fondly remember I beated this when I was 9 or something ...

So good..

I wanna say Turtles in Time was the first, if not one of the first. I beat Twisted Metal 2 countless times as well as a youngin.

Must've been something on the C64, but that time was a mixture of watching my brother play a lot, the two of us swapping places while playing and me using cheats a lot, so I can't really remember which one was the first. Something like Aztec Challenge, Raid Over Moscow or Commando.

Actually, it might've been Silicon Syborgs or International Soccer, if you can say that those games have an ending of sorts.

Super Mario Kart if we're talkin' strictly "made it to the credits". First game with a campaign I beat was probably maybe Sonic 2 or Streets of Rage 2. Or Mario 64. Gotta be one of those.

First game that I played from start to finish with my friends was Mega Man 3. I had played many Commodore 64 games and some NES games before that with my friends but I don't have a clear memory of beating any game before Mega Man 3. SNES was my first console (Christmas 1992) and Super Mario World was the first game that I beat all by myself.

The oldest game I can remember beating was probably Lego Star Wars or Star Wars battlefront. I'm sure there was something before them but those are the oldest games that I loved enough to remember.

Must have been Wario Land Virtual Boy, the first game I ever owned. I'd played games plenty of times at friends' houses, but never beat one until I had my own I reckon. I think I was 8 or 9? Can't really remember dates that well.

Either Super Mario Bros, Contract, or R-Type for Sega Master System.

I had the SMS first but R-Type was way harder than the other two.

Safari Hunt could have been before them too.

Hmm. I started playing games when I was 4. We initially had Ice Climber and Popeye, and a year later we also got Super Mario Bros.. I'd like to think that I was good enough to beat games at that age, but I don't think that is very likely. I couldn't have know about any of the warp zones in SMB., and beating every level in Ice Climber, I don't think I've ever beaten it without using stage select. No, it was probably a little while later that I beat my first game. I remember my brother beating Kung Fu, something I also learned to do shortly thereafter, so maybe it was that or possibly Super Mario Bros. I estimate it was at the age of 6 or so.

Super Mario Bros (NES). I remember having the version that was bundled with Duck Hunt. Fun times.

The first game I've officially beaten (without any help), was Midnight Club II. Man, racing Savo was a huuuuuge pain in the arse!

Honest to god, Uncharted 2.
And yeah I played all Ninty and Sony systems before the PS3. But I was one that never finished games. Hell I didn't even finish Uncharted 1 and I played 1 week before the release of U2.

Star Fox 64

Every game prior to that I would spend a lot of time playing and whenever I reached a point I couldn't beat after a few days I would start over in them and play the stuff I could beat again. Then finally I beat SF64 and realized beating games wasn't really that hard.

Nope. I've been a gamer so long, probably since i was 7-8 years old.
Probabilities are i played it with cheats though, whatever it was.
