Can you remember the first game you beat?

Do not know if it was the first game I beat but it sure as hell is the one I remember the best.

N64 was my first console so possibly Perfect Dark, I rarely finished games back in those days.

The first game I actually vividly remember beating was Dino Crisis 2 on PS1.

Must have been Sam & Max: Hit the Road or Day of the Tentacle.

Nothing for a long time after that. I didn't beat games for shit when I was young. Just dicked around till half of the game max lol.

If beating a screen on Frogger counts, since the game just repeats, then that.

Otherwise, probably Super Mario Bros. on the NES around 1989.

I think it must have been Super Mario Bros. 3, sometime around '90 or '91 (making me five or six). I remember double-teaming it with a cousin, and I distinctly remember it being the first time I stayed up until the wee hours of the morning. Before that, I was too young and the games were too damned difficult.

Krull for the Atari 2600 is the first game I recall having some kind of conclusion, so I guess that. I made plenty of Atari 2600 games loop back onto the first level.

Super C...or at least some version of it as I played it on a bootleg system so who knows what it really was.

Probably super Mario Bros on NES. Can't remember how old I was. Maybe 5 or something. I have very early memory of Tetris space rocket launch but don't know if that was me playing or my brother.

The first game I finished on the Commadore Amiga. It wasn't that hard to finish IIRC.

It had the dub of Bill Paxton from Aliens when you died too "game over man, game over"

So cool.

I'm pretty sure I beat doom when I was 5 lol... Gave me nightmares then I wasn't allowed to play it anymore, ended up beating Freddie the fish shortly after for my second game beat.

Dang this is tough to say for me. I had a Sega Genesis, but as i go through the games I had, i don't think i was able to beat any of them.

My first ps1 game was spyro, which I beat, but i feel like some pc games came before that.

Reminded from above post. I beat doom very early on. Didn't realize i beat it at the time because of the ending.

Must have been Wario Land Virtual Boy, the first game I ever owned. I'd played games plenty of times at friends' houses, but never beat one until I had my own I reckon. I think I was 8 or 9? Can't really remember dates that well.

NOW I recall! I thought it was Pokemon Blue, but now I remember I had a Virtual Boy as my *very* first game console, before I even had an SNES.

I think it was this game, a pinball game, and a shooter of some sort. I remember the ridiculous neck cramps that thing gave me. Thought I was gonna be damaged for life or something because my neck was in a weird position trying to look through the Virtual Boy. lol

Porsche Challenge, which I believe came with my PS1 back in the 90s. I cared more about the Metal Gear Solid, Abe's Oddysee etc. demos on the demo disc though. The first notable game I completed would have been Crash Bandicoot 1, the first "big" game Metal Gear Solid (took my 8-9 year old self nearly six months without outside help, but I was utterly obsessed with the game), and the first RPG Digimon World. I beat the major 2D Marios not long after Crash 1.

It must've been Quest For The Rings in 1981, which means I would have been about 8 years old. I can't think of any other games I had back then that you could actually beat.

There was a whole complicated setup using a board game but we were too young to appreciate it and hardly ever played it correctly. We'd just mess around with the actual videogame part.

Not my image. I wish I still had mine. :(

Pitfall, sort of. I don't think I beat it but I got enough points to get a patch in the mail from Activision.

That was in '82 I think, so I was around 8 years old.

Super Mario Bros. on the NES, think I had it beat by New Years, 1986 as I got it for Christmas of '85 :p My parents weren't happy when they heard I beat it that quick.
