no we never were. I was the guy who was a friend of their family. We haven't talked in over 5 years so we have a lot of catch up on. like I said my wife just doesn't like me talking with other girls. I really am a good guy and its not like i'm trying to have any major secrets. she would just be mad if she found out i was talking to a girl from my past.

Then the day you ran into her, you should have told your wife "Oh hey, I ran into such-and-such today. We should invite her and her husband over for dinner on Friday to catch up."

You have some serious relationship issues if you cannot even text to a friend without your wife freaking out. Either that, or there is more to this then you are telling us.

Maybe find some of the 'nicest' porn you can, and invite her to watch so she won't think it's as...disgusting?

i'm assuming this isn't a smart phone as i think all smartphone platforms have a cloud-based backup program to store things like texts. If the phone connected to the computer at all, it may be possible to use Bitpim to retrieve the the texts depending on the method. The only other method i know of involves subpoenaing the records, but you need to have a valid reason (ie. harassment from a blocked numBer) to do that.
 
Op you are a terrible liar hahahaha. If you can't even lie good on a forum, there's no way you'll be able to hide it from your wife.

Before all this Tiger stuff erupted, I told all my married friends: if you cheat and/or seriously consider it, DO NOT TEXT. Virtually every instance of adultery I have seen in divorces has high volume text messages to the suspected paramour as one of the main components of proof of adultery. The infatuation high and the illusion of privacy and accessibility is just too much temptation for most people.

Not that I advocate cheating, but at least get a free email address your special lady doesn't know about to do it.

About a year ago my ex asked me to check her phone bill for her. So I logged in found out that she exchanged 142 text messages between this other number in less than 3 days. Suffice to say you can imagine the subsequent conversation we had.

Damn right. I find it amazing how many people get caught like this. Did you really think your partner wouldn't get suspicious when you were getting 20-30 extra texts at odd hours?

As for the bolded, one account, password shared between the cheaters and messages saved to drafts is the best way to NEVER get caught.
