I bought a cheap PS3 today, set it up, signed into PSN, tried to download something, it said I have two PS3's already activated and thus need to deactivate them. I went onto the sony entertainment site, devices and media, two PS3 systems on the site, clicked deactivate, and it said 'devices can only be deactivated from the PS3 system, not from a PC'

Is there way to deactivate them from my computer, or do I need to call Sony or whatever?

if you go to the sonyentertainmentnetwork website and log in, go to devices and you can but it'll deactivate everything so if you have a ps4 and vita on there too you'll have to reactivate those

Whenever I try to play a game off the disc or start PS store, it just goes to black screen. Have to pull the power at the back to reset it. Super. Glad I kept the receipt.

Deactivate it before returning. You wont be able to deactive from the website for a while.

It eventually started resistance FOM, after 30 minutes. Hasn't started MGS 4 yet.
