I'd rather pay slightly more for the same product, than the same for less product.

Anyone who has heard of inflation should be able to see why this is logical. The price of stuff increases.

You peasants, worrying about a few pence and a few grams...

Take out a payday loan and buy Godiva.

Yeah I stopped growing some time ago now, I knew these shrinkages were true. And yeah, even the deals are bad.

The universe is expanding but chocolate stays the same size. Future wars will be fought over this

We should change the name of the country to Poundland and get it over with.

Companies have been pulling this shit in the uk for years and years before brexit. It's just now they can rip people off and use it as a handy scapegoat while crying that they don't want to but they have to.

wagon wheels, lion bars, monster munch, malteasters, mars bars, creme eggs have all shrunk in size compared to how they used to originally be.

Let them keep going, they will eventually see what happens when people stop buying and their profits nosedive.

exactly. the article even states how the 'candy' had already been reduced once already before brexit lol.

I am blaming China and it's increasing need for Cocoa beans. Also I blame the former growers who changed to rubber trees as it's more profitable to produce rubber than Cocoa.

Not to rub it in but I bought Christmas candy a couple months ago at CVS for 90% off.

M&Ms anyone?
