Capcom Announcing Several New Games At TGS

It's going to be Okami 2, exclusive to the WiiHD, with ground breaking pointer combined with MotionPlus based painting and sculpting gameplay mechanics that will herald a new age of motion controls being imperitive to deep gameplay. It will be developed by Platinum Games with support from Capcom, available this Christmas, and pre-orders will come with a 50-page high quality art book and four CD soundtrack.

Also, Shenmue 3 will launch alongside.

Don't forget about Kid Icarus, 2D Metroid, and the Panzer Dragoon Saga sequel. Oh, and Mega Man Legends 3 of course. We all know that's coming.

Mine being that it's safer to brace for maximum disappointment.

Well I really want to see a remake of Resident Evil 2 and yes I know some parts of RE2 are featured in darkside chronicles but I would really love to see a remake in the same way as they did when they remade the first Resident Evil.

And Monster Hunter 3 (witch I am considering to import even though I don't speak japanese)

And Resident Evil for the psp (Yes I love Resident Evil)

Why am I getting my hopes up for Onimusha 5 AGAIN. Goddamnit.

Oh and I'd really prefer for Okamiden to be an HD port/remake and not a sequel unless they'll be able to get a huge portion of the team from the first game back (especially all of the composers and the same art team).

edit: yeah devil may cry 5 also.
 
Anything but MvC3 will be a dissapointment.

It would be odd to announced MvC3 at the same event that's trying to hype up TvC a bit, though.

i dont know why anyone would want it instead of a proper new resident evil game built for the wii

I don't get the backlash at all, the game was great. It really sucks now that the English versions have caught up to Japanese and we now have to wait so damn long between each release :(

I'm not defending a Wii-Port of RE5 but it's still a hell lot more similiar to RE4 than Dead Rising.
 
I highly doubt ace attorney will ever leave the DS, its making its bank on the system and thats where its fans are.

I will be surprised if Monster Hunter 3 was announced for any other platform.

I dont give a crap about this disappointment of RE anyways
I have heard this sentiment thrown around multiple times with terrible examples, but I guess thats what will happen when 5 people are put to do this job.
 
This is the last time you fuck me up Capcom, I'm not going to get hyped. Stick those shovelware games somewhere because both you, me and everyone else knows that it won't be a Onimusha 5. The only announcement that would actually be worth the hype.

Actually, Onimusha 5 on the DS would be amazing. I recently played Ninja Gaiden DS and sweet jesus I'm the best I've never been able to be on 360/PS3 because of the stylus.

Issen'ing enemies in Onimusha with a pen would be pretty cool.

I'd like something new and interesting for the Wii, Capcom. Now that you've got MH3 on the thing, might be good to follow up.

Um what? You missed Mega Man and Resident Evil on there? They also said that they want to do more for the device.

I have an iPhone so duckroll is not able to hurt my feelings ;)
Breath of Fire for the iPhone would be kinda awesome.
