Capcom: "Three Huge Announcements" on Wednesday

Strider 3 (ala DMC or NG)
Dark Stalkers 4
Tech Romancer 2
Street Fighter 4
Bionic Commando 2
Megaman Legends 3
Onimusha 5
Shadow of Rome 2
Breath of Fire 6
Power Stone 3
Dino Crisis 4
Revival of Dead Phoenix
Chaos Legion

Take your pick Capcom and make them happen on the 360 or PS3.

-Megaman X1-X6 (All one game) on XBLA with HD, Leaderboards,
Online Co-Op?
, achievements.
-Power Stone 3 On anything but Wii
-Onimusha 5

I would kill for a 3D Strider 3 a la' NG where Hiryu can perform impossible flicks at huge heights (of course graphics should be good enough to give the player a vertigo inducing sense of height) and climb upon huge mechanical robot things (kinda like SOTC but faster, smoother, more dynamic).

Seriously, if i had the money i'd produce and design it myself : P

lol gaf. Remember what happen the last time? Teh megaton. :lol

Firstly -- a new, surprising game would be very welcome.
But as there are bound to be sequels announced given the nature of the story (the properties that Capcom has in it's "vault"):

Hopefully Street Fighter IV *is* coming. And hopefully it would be scalable to all systems. It's something that'd look sweet in HD so I suspect 360/PS3 versions would be inevitable, but it'd be damn fine to have on Wii as well. In fact, I prefer the classic controller's D-pad to the other consoles' really. SFII on XBLA has convinced me of the need for online.

If a Megaman game is announced, I hope they do something neat with it so it doesn't seem like a spin off or the 9 millionth iteration in a series that people are finding hard to follow.

Viewtiful Joe 3 would be pretty sweet. I can imagine VFX possibilities using the Wii remote would be really good.

If there's another Okami, I want them to get rid of the annoying Jibber talk. It's the only complaint I have.

I don't want Resident Evil 5 on Wii per se, but I want another game that uses the pointer like RE4. I can't imagine playing RE games any other way now.

I'll take a new Powerstone on anything really. Online plz.

I guess we can all agree that if Dead Rising is one of these, it certainly won't be 360 exclusive as I'm pretty sure MS would have let it slip on Wed.

If this is real, it seems like it's all going to be already established franchises. I'm guessing Okami for Wii, Street Fighter IV (because I want to see it already), and Bionic Commando for PS3/X360. Actually, I can't even begin to real feel confident in any of that...too many Capcom IPs out there that it could be.

Megaman Powered Up PSN/XBLA

It would be so perfect. Already has the sharable custom maps thing, plus they could fairly easily remake the sequels as downloadable expansions.

If capcom manages to get Arc Systems to make a more classic styled fighter, not like Sengoku Basara X, with some Capcom Fighting franchise, I will die a happy man.

I've been thinking about what capcom could do for an Okami sequel, but I've got such a bad memory and I cant remember what happened at the end of Okami, so I dont know where they could pick up and continue the story.

Yakuza 3 has made the Onimusha series all kinds of irrelevant.

I don't know about that. Dawn of Dreams had great gameplay but lousy presentation. I never thought I'd say this, but maybe Capcom should make a low-budget Onimusha for the Wii that puts even more focus on combat. Hell, they could throw in a PS2 port while they're at it.

I understand what you're trying to get at though. The ambience in RGG Kenzan looks insane.
