Hey man,

Small Civil War spoilers:
I have zero memory of her wearing that or having any weapon in this movie.

Most people don't realize that even an average SHIELD agent is James Bond level of badass.

They are the police force on a world full of monsters, gods and super soldiers.

These guys are just outclassed due to heroes being on just another level, but overall, an agent like Sharon Carter can wreck an average person's day.

This is especially shown when somebody as badass and skilled as Rumlow still is nothing but a rag doll to someone like Captain America.

Three questions for people who saw the movie.

1. Is there a mid/end credits teaser after the movie?
2. If there is is it at then end of the credits or mid way through?
3. Don't say what it is but, is the mid/end credit scene pretty cool?

Our screening only had a mid-credits teaser, but they may add an after-credits one to the release. Its pretty cool. It could have been in the actual movie honestly.

It pretty much is

yes. Yes. YES! YYYEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAASSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks, man. The hype train is about to go off the rails over here. I just got my brother in law all caught up over the weekend. We watched Winter Soldier, Ultron, Ant Man (which I hadn't yet seen) and XMen Days of Future Past because its just awesome and its the only Xmen movie he hadn't seen yet.

So yeah, we have reached maximum Mahvel hype over here. :)

In case you didn't know, the John Wick guys are involved in this movie as well.

I'm aiming for a Thursday evening (May 5th) IMAX screening in my area. It'll be packed, but I don't think tickets have sold out yet.

I've been lucky in the past to simply be able to walk into a theatre and still have tickets available for big movies, hoping my luck continues.

The Force Awakens might've been the only exception, but it was only because there weren't enough seats grouped together for my friends and I to sit in. We ended up watching a regular 3D screening, which was empty.

That looks crazy good, I assume its very expensive thought.

I think they offer payment plans for some of their figures, if that's any indication of cost lol.

Same for me but I went ahead and reserved my seats. It's a 7pm IMAX 2D showing so since they're only doing one per day they went fast. Managed to get really good seats, they're pretty much all gone

I just checked my local theatre's seating - plenty of IMAX 3D seating for both Thursday shows (7:00 PM, 10:00 PM), and the IMAX 2D on Friday.

This movie is a bust confirmed.

Tracking is already predicting a 175 million opening weekend. Since they're usually wrong with predicting, this movie is probably going to open 200+. Good shot of being the 2nd biggest opening of all time. THR

Yeah, I think we're going to see a Jungle Book thing happen here. Or more appropriately, we'll get Avengers (2012) redux *see below*. It'll just keep going up and up once the extremely positive WoM starts happening. This is also where the staggered release really helps Marvel too, ala Avengers back in 2012. When overseas people started talking about all these epic scenes, funny moments, and how much of a surprise good movie it was, it definitely spiked even more interest on the domestic side.

*as seen here, this was the tracking for Avengers 3 weeks before domestic opening
Deadline: 'Avengers' Tracking Like Superhero: $125+M Opening Weekend With 4-Quadrant Appeal
And we all know how much that movie went on to make OW here.

Is Winter Soldier supposed to be faster than Captain America? I didn't think he took the Super Soldier Serum.

From the Audi chase scene clip you see him running faster than Cap, unless I'm not getting full thing.

He's running for his life because BP is coming for that ass

Bucky was experimented on by Hydra when he was their captive, which is how he survived his fall from the Hydra train in Cap:TFA. I don't think we know his exact skill set in the MCU, but he seemed pretty on par with Cap in TWS, if not superior physically.

Nah, he wasn't superior. Once Steve stopped holding back, he beat the shit out of him, even after being shot a bunch of times. But yeah, he's definitely super-human.

I just rewatched the First Avenger on Saturday and that scene where Cap rescue's Bucky from the collapsing factory had him tied up in one of those examination chairs.

I completely forgot about this and I guess it's the first time they show Zola experimenting on him. Things make more sense now after seeing Winter Soldier.

Really? Near unanimous post-screener positive talk and one random fucko's opinion has you worried?

1st, people rave about all the Marvel movies saying you need to see them all and see Agents of Shield nonstop. Didn't ever care about AoS and was disappointed when I was told I need to see Thor to understand Avengers. Some people even still think Age of Ultron was good. I know people who said Thor 2 was good.

Would it be fair to say that majority of the people who saw it at the previous screener were hardcore Marvel-nuts?

2nd, they/I never said the movie was bad. Basically they spoiled a significant part of the movie that I had been discussing with co-workers. After hearing the "spoil," it ruins hope I had for the movie. It covers an aspect of the MCU that has always bothered me, fixes nothing and just makes the matter worse.

Also, in TWS Steve explicitly says that Zola was experimenting on Bucky and that's what allowed him to survive the fall.

I'd say the very positive reviews are far more noteworthy than the impressions of regular fans (although even those fans have stated some things they were disappointed with)

And how exactly was Age of Ultron not good? (Which implies it was bad). It's a fun action movie to see in the theaters, what else could one want for a night out at the movies with family?

some of the Age of Ultron hate still baffles me. I understand it's not amazing, but some people allude to it being Transformers bad

Whoever told you this is dumb. One of the greatest strengths of MCU films is that you can go into pretty much any one of them fresh. Prior knowledge is not required though it can help you appreciate the connections.

But it sounds like they're just not your bag which is totally fine.
