Just seems strange. I get that you might not want to use the name "Captain America" everywhere in certain countries, but, dude's running around with a big "A" on his forehead, and the star-spangled banner around his waist. What else would audiences think they're getting?

Or the people who make the titles for the german market are idiots and since the first Captain America movie wasnt that successfull here and think it was because of the America in the title, they wanted to tap into dat Avengers money.
But I stay with idiots, they wanted to name Amazing Spider-Man 2 here around Spider-Man 2: The Return of the Superhero

I think it's more or less the people in charge of the movie around here being goobers. Everyone I know calls the Captain America Civil War.
Didn't TASM2 have that weird subtitle here too? AFAIK the movie was called The Amazing Spider-Man 2 in most places around the world yet germany had it written out as The Amazing Spider-Man 2: Electric Boogalo (I forgot the subtitle but it had smth to do with Electro).
Can't wait for the movie though, next wednesday I'll get to see Spidey as part of the MCU. It's funny, I couldn't care less about Cap or Tony... all I want to see is Spidey.

Think he means thematically, as far as story goes.
I saw his facebook and he had a girlfriend who he'd sweet-talk by putting random videos as comments to her post. She actually had to tell him to talk to her like a normal person and that most people didn't care about BvS like he did.
Probalby the whole civil war concept and how it plays out.
