So, these are my thoughts:

It's good. But it's not the second coming of christ. And certainly not the best marvel movie. I still think winter soldier is the best.

The greatest feat they achieved here is how they managed to have dozens of characters in this movie and they are all very good, have personalities, motivations, arcs.

The action scenes are pretty good. But fuck the shaky cam at the beggining.

I hated scarjo, jeremy renner and elizabeth olsen in AoU. But thought they were great in civil war.

Can't believe how far Evans has come since "Not Another Teen Movie".

"I'm sure 2 out of 3 of these kids won't last..."

It's not good, it's great. The movie takes it time to put the pieces in place, but IMHO it only improves the payoff.
Black panther is phenomenal, Chadwick Boseman nails the character.
Spider-Man... Oh boy, I'm looking forward to homecoming now more than ever. Both the best Peter Parker and best Spider-Man.
The CG can be iffy sometimes, though.
The score is incredible

I saw it in 3D, and it added nothing. The 3D wasn't distracting either though, apart from maybe 1 or 2 scenes.

Ranking it on par with WS, which is my favorite MCU movie so far.

Truth fact, before Winter Soldier came out "Not Another Teen Movie" was my favorite Chris Evans film(in which he is in the starring role). I'm in my early 30s so maybe it's because of the nostalgia but everybody I know from my generation(including me) loves that movie.

I'm not sure if the director of an organization that's still reeling from being infested by the enemy in public should be spending the organization's funds on a mint condition comic signed by said director's man-crush.

This is why Mack should be the director.

At least he'd buy parts to build a proper Shotgun Axe.

It's definitely a generational thing, but it's also not a terrible, unwatchable movie. In fact it's pretty funny. It's just that those kinds of parody movies became the absolute bottom of the barrel entertainment as time went on, so much that they retroactively made ALL of them look worse as time passed.

That it didn't preemptively ruined anyone's career is probably the best seal of quality I can give it, lol. I'd watch it again before any terrible Adam Sandler movie or the like.

Not Another Teen Movie was hilarious.

Parody movies have always been bottom of the barrel entertainment, but the genre has never been ashamed of this fact.

Stop snitching on Coulson, man.

Little kid me loved that movie for the boobies.

That's highly unlikely.

I mean, they said it.

It's not the SUPER-UBER-GIGANTOR IMAX cameras that we're used to for stuff like Interstellar or Transformers, it's the new hardware spun-off from the one they used for the 2nd act set-piece of Civil War.

Has anybody watched this movie in IMAX anything yet? I want to know if it's just technical spec stuff like higher-resolution that was a benefit of the IMAX camera they used this time, or if they actually did have an aspect ratio change to fill more of the screen.

I really, really like Winter Soldier. I really do. It's easily one of the best superhero movies, especially in the Marvel repertoire.

That being said, if Civil War's airport scene is indeed as incredible as everyone is saying, as well as what I'm assuming is a final fight with Steven and Anthony, then the climax already sounds fucktons better than the previous films'; and for me that can go a long way because while I was okay with the helicarrier stuff, I always thought it felt kind of out of place in the smaller-scoped previous two acts.

And Spider-man's in it. And supposedly the best Spider-man ever. And Panther. Nah. I can see this being better than Winter Soldier, for me.

I rewatched Winter Soldier and still really like it, but I don't know if I can call it my favourite MCU movie. I never liked the part with Zola because it always feels like it's stretching the slightly more "grounded" feel the rest of the movie has compared to the rest of the MCU, and I find the helicarrier part less interesting than all the other action sequences. Also I was struck by how...gray the movie is. It's really flat in the colour palette. Really like the portrayal of Cap, Widow, Falcon, and Fury though, and looking forward to how the Russos handle all the other characters, especially since they all get to interact almost like an Avengers film.

It's really good, kinda shocked the cast from that is doing more than the casts from the movies they spoofed.

Watched it today in a THX certified theater through Dolby Atmos. Love it, I think almost everything was pretty well paced. There wasn't a lot of draggy bullshit like BvS, it's just action, a few minutes of build up, more action and then some more action.

Amazing how they had so much going on but yet every character has a focus. Kind of wished Thor would thrown down his hammer during the airport fight scenes though, even if it wouldn't fit in the story.

9/10. Movie of the year so far.

Absolutely they are, but my point is you can see Not Another Teen Movie, then see something like The Hungover Games or a similar late in the line spoof movie and appreciate a real difference between "low hanging fruit comedy; bottom of the barrel movie" for the former and a real bottom of the barrel thing you wouldn't even call a movie for the latter. I'm just saying that so many crappy ones have made people think they are all the same, when this is a real case to show they are in fact not.

It's probably Hive spending some of that Malick money.

I thought Ultron only armored himself with whatever Vibranium he had left, which wasn't much. Basically he was still vulnerable as the encasing couldn't cover every inch of his body so when he got hit by Thor, Ironman and Vision they were mostly getting through the parts that weren't armored.

Nah, it was never said or implied that he made a new body of himself with vibranium, otherwise, they would have made it obvious with some dialogue.

IMAX maybe, IMAX 3D or any 3D... I dunno. I can't imagine enjoying this as much in 3D given how the action is shot. Would be super annoying.

Just came out of it. Instantly regreted having watched this in 3D. Was not good for the action. You'll notice this right from the beginning :(

Man can some people who are informed about Black Panther explain why he's done so well instead of giving a one liner saying he's a badass.

Sorry if I sound impatient but I have to wait till may 6 to watch this movie and I need something to hold me over.

Lucky Europeans.

He's mature while the others act like bickering kids. He's above revenge. He can be toe-to-toe with Cap and Bucky in combat. He's got a real "you dun fucked up" look/stance with his outfit when someone tries to hit him and fails as everything ricochets off his vibranium suit. He thinks a few steps ahead. He's basically Batman.

God damn. I been thinking the MCU really needs somebody with the aura of Bruce Wayne who just overshadows any room he's in with his demeanor and presence

I'm really hoping this character is it.

Just got back from the movie. It's damn good, Black Panther and Spidey are the high points of the film (especially Spidey) and with Zemo Marvel finally has a good villian again.

All in all it's definitely my favorite Marvel film since Iron Man and possibly my favorite in general.

It's one of the best parodies ever. My friends and I used to be able to recite that movie line for line back in the military.
