Was I the only who felt Spider-Man's appearance felt forced and unnecessary? Also didn't like his forced banter while he acted totally unlogical for a teen somehow drafted in for this fight. Daredevil or someone else would have been way better, and wouldn't have taken me out of the movie. Now it was "oh that was forced by the studio"...
Ultimately, Spider-Man wasn't really necessary and the movie could've done without him. But his appearance just makes the movie even better, I think.
Diplomatic immunity. He is a ruler of another country.

He's pretty much the next king of Wakanda. A country that could obliterate the U.S like its nothing.
I doubt they would want to piss off Wakanda let alone imprison their next king in line.

Spider-Man in the fight is as unnecessary as Ant-Man I suppose. But the scene with Tony and Peter originally with the paraphrased "with great power" speech is important for Tony
Hot Toys showed off the Cosbaby set for Team Iron Man, including Spidey. I guess we should expect an actual Hot Toys premium figure for Spider-Man in the near future.

Just got out of seeing the movie. Gotta say, I thought the airport scene was pretty underwhelming compared to the highway chase, which I thought was far superior. Overall I still think Winter Soldier was the more complete movie. But this was very good, nonetheless.

Just saw it and holy shit, the Black Panther and Spiderman hype wasn't lying.
I'm actually excited for another Spiderman movie again, something Sony was slowly killing.

September 5th in the UK. I'm pretty sure we got the avengers AOU earlier than the states as well.
Bleh, what the hell is Best Buy doing. This is going to cost $36.78 with shipping while I could get it from Amazon (yes, without the steelbook) for 22.99
eh, steelbook is decent, but I'm looking through my Art of Civil War book and there is so much gold in here. wish they could have used some of that art instead...

The cover seems to be trying too hard in the "THIS DESIGN IS ICONIC" space.
I like the normal cover better.
Even though it looks like Rhodey's kinda like "i have no idea what im doin :3"
I love playing "Where's Ant-Man?" with every marketing material/poster for this movie. I hope it continues in future MCU movies.

I almost feel bad about the empty space under Stark, I'd like a photoshop where it's just Spidey smooshing his face against the glass or something. That'd be more of a Deadpool move but...

I don't care about about covers, I'm just glad we're getting the movie in a couple months.
Bummed that Marvel isn't doing One Shots anymore, though.

So I'm about to watch this movie, but the only Marvel movie I haven't seen is Ant Man. Will this movie spoil stuffs about the previous Ant Man movie?
no, but it will make you want to watch Ant Man
The only thing it will spoil is "Hey... Scott Lang is Ant-Man." Also acouple small jokes, but that's it.

Looks like we're getting two different sleeves for the Blu-Ray in the UK. One for Cap and one for Tony. Pretty similar to the Light side/dark side sleeves for The Force Awakens.
Disney wont support that format.
Will probably get the Cap one.

The artwork will be the same, but the international release will have characters on the spine instead of the title.
