It's a screening, a really big screening and it's done super early because Marvel is very confident in the movie and wants word of mouth to spread

It's just screenings, it's not being released. They're screening it this early because Marvel is very confident this will have exemplary word of mouth and wants to start building word of mouth now.
It was not a choice Marvel made. The film is so great, so astounding in its entertainment value, it gained sentient thought and has forced its way into theaters across America. Civil War runs the Disney ship now.
