There are going to be like 3 MCU movies a year soon.
Why not have the promotion go all year 'round?
Seeing news interviews with Cap, Tony, Thor, Banner, Strange, etc., covering various huge events and the potential fallout, talking about stories about Spider-Man, Daredevil, SHIELD-related stuff that may find it's way into the news.
Their videos can be anything from funny promotional stuff to MCU "current events" to an exposé exploring ideas like Inhumans popping up or the Sokovia Accords. The possibilities are endless!
Since it's obviously difficult for the film and television side to really do crossover stuff, maybe it can also be a way to tie the two sides together more since it's not as much a matter of getting an actor to play a role in a film or a show, but stopping by in character for a little web interview can be both cool and good promotion.
The Force Awakens is a mediocre movie with plot holes the size of a 18-wheeler that fanboys covince themselves into liking because it's not quite as atrocious as the prequels. It's a sloppy remake of ANH that falls off a cliff the minute Han shows up.
Yeah yeah, I know Bobby's gonna come in with the whole "Actually, it's a remake of the entire original trilogy" spiel any minute now.

Don't get it twisted for all its faults TFA is still a better blockbuster than almost the entire mcu so far (iron man 1 withstanding)

The aesthetic was seemingly created just for me to dislike it and I didn't think that the story was all that great. It's ok if you liked it but I had no interest from the trailers and only saw it because of the hype, which it did not live up to at all.

Never said it was bad! I just don't see it as this groundbreaking god tier INCREDIBLE film that many seem to see it as. I watched it once, liked it, but have no real desire to really watch it again.

As a big Star Wars fan, I find more truth in this post than not.
It's only gotten more mediocre to me the more times I see it, where it's just okay and entertaining. I might watch it again once in a while for fun but it's nothing special.
It's basically on par with MoS and DOFP for me as passable entertainment, but with all 3 I'm teetering on the edge of saying they are bad and not worth watching.

@gordon: yeah I rewatched iron mans and cap 2 in the last little while as a lead up to this movie. Ranking goes iron man > cap 2 > iron man 3 > guardians > the rest for me now no doubt.
