Best characters in the MCU are Thors abs and Chris Elvans chest.
I ain't the biggest Campea fan, I disagree with him most of the time, but he is right. He's the first to say that movies are art and given that all art is subjective, so are movies.
I just can't take Grace seriously ever since I watched the BvS review. That was the first (and only) time I ever watched any of her videos.

At :18 when Black Panther says "Captain", oh boy did it sound insanely badass.
Sweet mother of God does Chadwick Boseman have some range.That voice would make anyone piss their pants.
I'm excited to hear how his accent sounds after hearing about how much work went into making it.

Just got my tickets today.
My original screening is on the 30th at an IMAX theatre.
But IME, first time screening is always best at normal cinema. It's a bit hard to get an overview of the entire scene in IMAX due to how large the IMAX screen tend to be. So I ordered another ticket for the 28th at a normal cinema.

Dude this was The Pearl in Philly next to Temple University, it's a somehow nice theater in a college neighborhood that's about two blocks away from being on the wrong fucking side of town

But yeah you haven't fucking lived until you watch Gravity and have groups of people bursting out in laughter to the point where they have to leave the theater at that goddamn hallucination scene

The best movies to watch with crowds like that are horror films. It is a unique experience that you cannot replicate. I am glad that I finally convinced my wife a few years ago to do horror movies on opening night if we ever see them, just for how crazy the audiences are.

Oh I'm a little bitch but crowds like that are so awesome for horror films. Horror films and comic book movies because they just got zero filter. I remember watching Avengers opening weekend and Thanos about had the theater ready to explode.
Compare that to the advance screening of Mad Max I saw where everyone watched in silence because they got hit by a freight train of an action movie but didn't want to be rowdy.
And then compare THAT to the advance screening of Creed IN PHILLY where motherfuckers were shadowboxing
I'm picturing this happening in my mind right now and I'm laughing so hard.

Some horror films maybe. I could see it for the horror films that are all about the jump.
Any horror film that is about the atmosphere would be ruined in that setting.
Actually I feel like this explains some of those 1 star reviews for The Witch.
Her downfall from Grace has been something to behold. Nuttier than squirrel shit.
I can not believe her getting axed from Marvel caused this.
I just looked into it a bit more. She really is kinda nuts. She believes feverently that she was leading some kind of crusade for the truth and that she did nothing wrong by slandering critics. And when she was called out on it, she accused them of stroking their own egos when they defended their integrity solely because she had preemptively said the conversation was already over before they had responded. The whole reason she tweeted John and his wife and called out a few critics by name is because she thought they were talking about her specifically when they were mocking fans who were taking the negative backlash against BvS as representing something sinister.
Her argument that there's some conspiracy at work is literally that BvS isn't a "28% movie" and that the Rotten Tomatoes score proves there is an agenda at work.
Now she's having a tirade about how people shouldn't compare Civil War with BvS while painting BvS unfavorably, because that's somehow unprofessional or a conflict of interest.
It's really bizarre. But I'd be lying if I said I haven't met more than a few people exactly like this who take actual events and warp it to fit a narrative with themselves at the center.
I remember seeing this when it was blowing up. Jesus, didn't realize it got worse. She is crazy!
Though who is crazier? Her or that one Future something DC movies channel guy?
Just wait until you hear it in the theater. Goddamn, Chadwick Boseman nailed it as T'Challa.

I still can't believe some people wanted Michael J White to play T'Challa instead of Chadwick Boseman.
Some forget that Chadwick Boseman has a really great range for an actor. Seeing him play James Brown proved his worth for me. I'm hyped to see his accent.

I would say Future is crazier since at least Grace has a supervillain origin attached to her (used to work for Marvel, but they fired her and now her motivation is revenge and destroy everything around her)

Freddy vs. Jason was fun with a crowd opening night for that. But one of my favorite experiences was seeing an employee showing of Halloween: H20. Everyone brought friends and the theater was packed for a midnight showing to see if the print was good. Everyone had food and alcohol and was having a blast.
The two parts that stuck out were a person yelling, "FUCK NO! YOU CANT KILL LL COOL J!" and someone yelling, "RUN BITCH! RUN FOR YOUR LIFE! DAMN!"
