I'm not going to be able to enjoy the movie on a first viewing if I'm wondering when spidey is going to finally show up the whole time

id prefer if they just dont show him at all or mention him at all until the actual movie

but i get the feeling he'll probably be in the next full trailer

wtf sony. We need some spidey marketing and merchandise like yesterday. Forget keeping him secret.

I don't think you can necessarily just blame Sony for that, it's a delicate business situation that they just need to figure out, there's no other way around it. Marvel and Sony could both be being dicks about it, or it's just a ton of red tape to work through

Team Super rich

Team defend a serial killer

Cap protecting Bucky after knowing he killed Starks Dad and that heart to heart chat from BW about her being shot by him is just hilarious.

But he was brain washed that excuses all the people he has murdered I suppose

My biggest question is this:

Why isn't this an Avengers movie, or just a Civil War movie? Why is Captain America the lead when arguably it's a shared lead if my knowledge of the story it's based on is correct.

How about the guy who willingly, and in his right mind, sold arms for years suddenly pretending to be a hero.
Stark was never a good person. Fuck that guy.

Edit:
In case you didn't know already. I really hate stark, at least as he is in the movies.
I actually legit despise the man.

The core conflict is still with Cap. Just about everything in this movie is centered around his relationship with Bucky. It's his story, essentially.

Time to look up the actual meaning of the term "serial killer", champ.

your hatred blinds you

Why does people keep saying Bucky killed Tony Stark's parents? Zola only hint that they were killed in an arranged 'accident' by Hydra in Winter Soldier.

Also I don't think Stark wants Bucky dead. He just want to capture him, since Bucky is a wanted fugitive.

I mean, yeah?

If you were brainwashed and committed murder would you just give yourself up for the death penalty?

If Bucky is to blame for Hydra forcing him to kill, Stark should have been put behind bars long ago for selling weapons to terrorists.

Bucky is the only thing Cap has from his world. Everything he knew & loved is gone except the one person who always stood by his side, protected him, & gave a damn about him. Sure, he's just going to give up on him & side with Tony, of all people.

It's very heavily implied in Winter Soldier that Bucky when brainwashed killed his parents. In that scene with Zola, he says that they basically used the Winter Soldier for things HYDRA could not do. We get a glimpse of his metal arm, before we see a newspaper clipping detailing Howard and Maria Stark's death following a car crash that some suspect may be foul play then followed by Nick Fury (who Bucky canonically "killed") being stamped with a deceased logo. It might not be officially confirmed but the evidence is there.

He's not a very likable character in the MCU. He starts of finding "redemption" in his first movie, but the more you see of him, the more you know that it didnt end there and that it's a constant struggle for him to find the right side to stand.

When Fury was turning him down for the Avengers, at the time it was hard to understand. But the more I think about it, the more I understand that this is not a stable guy you can count on. He often fucks things up more than he helps. Every time he has an epiphany he counters it with a colossal misjudgement. Every time you think he finally has it together, he shows you just how badly he can mess it all up. His biggest issue is that he seems to think he's the smartest man in the room just because he's the smartest man in the room.

It makes his character interesting, but also irritating. I've not read too many Iron Man comics but from what I gather it seems to be a pretty spot-on assessment of the character, so good job to the MCU guys.

I think we've had a little too much Fuckup-Tony lately though and we need a little more of Hero Tony being a legitimately helpful person who isn't causing drama. And I'm already feeling this before Civil War, so I don't think it's going to be getting any better. I'd love an Iron Man 4 where Tony is just a great person to balance out all the shit. At this point he feels more like a villain who happens to hang out with the Avengers.

Yes that was the clear intent of the scene. To imply that Bucky killed the Starks.

We already saw Tom Holland on the set of Civil War (or for reshoots for Civil War). Spidey's in the movie.

we even know there's a scene in Peter's bedroom, and it's a safe bet that Aunt May is in the movie too:

His 22,000 square-foot warehouse includes the following: kitchen furniture used in "Vacation," carvings seen in the NBC series "Constantine," an antique armoire for the set of "Devious Maids," Peter Parker's bedroom furniture from "Captain America: Civil War" and caskets used in "Billy Lynn's Long Halftime Walk" and "Dirty Grandpa."

Black Widow fighting against her two besties makes no sense.

In the books, some heroes took the government side precisely to make sure their friends would be brought in safely, alive. So you should hope the writers this time around don't throw Tony under the bus in the third act by having him recruit super villains to hunt down his friends.
