There was a rather epic thread in the OT on Wars vs. Trek (with some restrictions, of course) and it ended up being a fairly epic thread. Many things were learned on all sides.
I'm not as well versed in that stuff as I am all this comic shenanigans, though.

This time, apart from Cap Shield, he has no advantage whatsoever I think. Maybe I'm biased, but she can go to super speed, jump super high, has multiple type of weaponry gaging from Absolute Zero ice beam to Sun Heat Plasma beam passing by vibration annihilation beam, bombs, missiles, heavy missiles, ''heavy'' bombs. Let's not include X-Ray Vision, Thermal Vision, Scanner, a ship.
Also, she is a Chozo/Human Hybrid with SuperHuman Abilities WITH the Power Suit which is maybe the most modulable piece of technology of that universe. It can adapt to any tech and absorb that technology. Imagine for one moment Samus fall in Stark/Doom/Pym/Someone Armory.
The events of Halo 4 aren't any more "space magic" or "bullshit" than the doomguy killing aliens with high pitched voices using 1960s weapons on a giant hula hoop that can also wipe out sentient life within a 25000 light year radius. Oh, co-starring the world's most dangerous venus fly trap, and his trippy space pope companion.
Which is basically what the original trilogy was, and also why I loved it. <3. Halo has always had ridiculous concepts, Halo 4 is no exception.
Moving on, if we are going to use gameplay mechanics, what's stopping the Master Chief from using one of his pieces of equipment? As of Halo 4, they are a part of the standard UNSC kit for Spartans. Even if we arbitrarily ignore loadouts, what's stopping the use of gameplay mechanics? (The OP says nothing!) He could use equipment such as active camo, armor lock, and hardlight shield.
Theoretically, the Master Chief can also walk through walls, float in mid air and even jump in mid air, if we take the games literally.
However, I doubt he'll be able to beat Comic book Captain America, since the OP has not set any real conditions on how the battle progresses. It's a cage match according to a mod with a few other limitations, but I think that the battle should be broken down into different sources e.g. comic CA vs game MC or movie CA vs game MC etc etc

Chief beats Wolverine easy. All he has to do is activate the Halo Array, wiping the galaxy of all sentient life. Wolverine now has nothing to eat and is starved to death just like the Flood. Chief can use a Plasma Rifle to keep melting him until he gets too hungry to regenerate.

Edit: Reading up on it, I guess Samus' beams wouldn't work. She can always drop a power bomb and shoot him while he is protecting himself from the blast.

Though by every metric it shouldn't be the case. Wolverine is equally as skilled in combat, near immortal, and practically indestructible.
Yet still they have Cap bitch slap Logan and chuck him out of a plane like it's not big deal.

I'm pretty sure he is starving to death. How else could he be at sub-6% bodyfat.
Samus would be more likely to rip the shield away via her grapple beam/lasso.

Well once you get it, it passes through walls and goes through the guard of the space pirates who can block shots. So yea I think Femmeworth was right about the wavebeam against Cap, that if it did work like the game mechanics, Cap wouldn't block it. I don't know the actual (science/logical in game explanation) reasoning on why it is able to do what it does besides moving in a wave motion.
Not only that, Samus also had various trick shots like in Super Metroid that cover the screen that Cap would need something bigger than the shield to cover himself.

Just like Cyclops, who taps in to energy in another dimension. So his optic blasts are actually portals to a dimension of pure energy that comes flooding out his eyes.
So yeah, Logan gets matter and energy from another dimension. Sounds good.

I honestly expected a lot more out of an epic fight. But realizing that Machinima made it and not Bat in the sun just really killed the video and hype for me. Not because that Cap won.
But for the following reasons:
1. The fight was short.
2. Cap. fell out of a plane without a parachute and landed on his two feet without any injuries.
3. Punching Chief's armor would break his bones. (which 2 & 3, regardless of healing factor, that would be a significant factor against him in the fight)
4. Chief took the shield hit to his mouth piece. Not the visor.
5. Master Chief is a Spartan II. They were experimented with augmentations that even exceeded their "replacements" which were S3's & S4's (Captain's super soldier formula is the equivalent of the III's & IV's)
6. Machinimas FB post in reply to fan lashbacks was "Chief went through a lot, from being abducted from his parents, augmentated on, losing his fellow soldiers/friends, and the lose of his A.I. Companion Cortana whom went Rampant and died after saving him, which with all that into account is reason enough that He Wanted To Die." And also majority fan votes went to Captain America.
With #6 as their logic is completely flawed and illogical to the hypothetical fight scenario.
I could careless if either one of these two awesome heros were to lose in a battle. It's mainly how it was done which is why their video got bad votes. It sucked badly...
Still haven't seen the alternate version which I think it's out already by now.
