Cards of Destiny ~ What's Your Card?

Well. I probably won't get to those I never got to. At least not now.

I did take some time away from the cards and now I'm back looking at them and seeing stuff I never saw before that is kinda blowing my mind. I'm learning a bit more on what's unique about the 3 fixed cards(Jack of Hearts, Eight of Clubs and my Birth Card the King of Spades) that I was never told but now see. Delving into the Moon chart 43/88 chart which I guess is the foundation to the natural sun spread(44/89) which is foundation to the life spread(0/45)...I've come about some interesting data.

With a new way of grouping the cards I see I'm the odd man out of this entire system....well December 31st, The Joker, as well as that's not even included with the rest.

Think I'm gonna make a website that will be the best free resource regarding this information.

You are the 7 of Diamonds. You are 27. Your mind is restless this year which will see you go out on more adventures but it also means you might move as well from dissatisfaction with your current surroundings. You are also impatient this year which might see you get in a car wreck because of that. The third mental handicap this year is worrying about imaginary things. You share your wealth with charities and those close to you. In fact any aggressive pursuit of financial abundance will be met with your wishes being met. You're advised not to become attached to money or people during this year though. Financial partnerships are not advised as they will become a burden. Release attachments you have to plans/trips and adopt a spiritual attitude towards life. That might be difficult as you find yourself working a lot this year. Your life could see a major overhaul this year with you exploring your philosophies on life.

Wow thats cool. I am not a huge believer in these things but what you say is very accurate. Thank you very much for taking the time and getting to mine. Gives me much to think about.

That's the 43/88 spread or the Moon Spread layed out in a way I just made up on the spot earlier this morning. I noticed they flip colors except for a few instances. So I counted how long the runs were and saw there was a pattern there too(same interval) and cut it off when the same color showed and started a new row. Was not expecting to see the cards laid out in that natural order opposed to the other natural order, the Sun spread(or Spiritual spread I call it).

I took a liberty placing the cards down from left to right(rather than the way you actually read them, right to left)...but since it wasn't in a 7X7 grid I didn't care. So as you can see all the low cards are on one end and if you look closer I split the Moon spread into 4 segments...that's the way they came out...but I kinda separated em a bit to point out the main point of this post.

The first section if you start reading like you're supposed too from right to left you get the suits in their proper order. Hearts, Clubs, Diamonds, all aces...then you go back to the right of that 3-pronged column to the Ace of Spades and follow through. Notice the 4 of hearts is at the bottom and NOT the card that follows. the 3 of Spades in the 43/88 moon spread.

The next card goes to the top right(normal reading of the cards) the 4 of Clubs in the second column. And goes through the same pattern in suit/number order. So on until the end where we have 4 cards remaining that so elegant fit right into place where they should be to link the columns of 3. My guess is those cards that sit in those spots(Neptune/Neptune) and the top 3 in any spread are the actual rulers of the suit in any given year for an individual's spread.

The diagonals are linked(semi-fixed...flip places every year) if you've read this thread and studied the system you already know that. While the horizontals are the fixed cards. Which my card(King of Spades) will always be the last card in the bottom right amongst the headers or representative I take it as...like an embodiment of whatever is in the column in a given particular year.

So in this regards we go from a perfect spread as seen above to a perfect spread in the spiritual spread. And the path the cards take from there keep following each other to create the other 43 spreads. The Spiritual spread was always obvious to me but I never did get the "quadration" aspect of it all til seeing that the Moon spread perfect as well. It definitely adds weight to why the 45 cards of the wheel flow the way they do and that they just aren't slapped together.

Some other interesting notes of the Moon spread(pic). If you count with the 3rd card(the Ace of Hearts where started counting)...both have values of one. Five of Clubs...17 spots over is also it's value and spot(18)...17 more...the 9 of Diamonds is 35 and the King of Spades(52)...that's if you add in the bottom 4 cards into the count going by their number/suit.

There's also 16 spots between the bottom 4.

Each column at the bottom is represented by their initial suit of where they belong in order. Hearts/Clubs/Diamonds/Spades. The spiritual spread is all spades though with 1-1-1-1 between them(10 of spades to King of Spades). The Hearts/Clubs/Diamonds/Spades is back again with 11 between those new 3 in the rising chart 12-23-34. I should see if the difference between the 3 new cards at the bottom are always the same distance apart...haven't done that yet...be crazy if it was. Just checked. The same difference between numbers isn't apparent on that bottom row of 4. Must just be those 3 speads, Moon/Sun/Rising.

Also think the face cards are interesting. First time I've ever seen 6 facing one way and 6 facing the other. Usually it's Spades and the Jack of Clubs facing their left(our right) and the rest facing right. Think I got these cards when I was in a hospital.

Man...this system amazes me the more and more I look at it. That spread I posted above...the moon spread. If you take the first column(and move the 4 of hearts over to the right under the 3 of clubs) and then put the second column of 3 starting with the 4 of clubs next to it making a row of 4(instead of 3) and proceed with the next column and so on you'd eventually get a loop with the King of Spades appearing next to the Ace of Hearts back in the first row. This of course could go on forever I suppose. But it does create a helix...which then makes you think of DNA of course. It can also be found in many religions and whatnot.

So yeah I mean if it spirals on itself you probably only need one rotation. Notice the 3 aces going diagonally to the left are in suit in order. So essentially if you stop the sequence after one time through...there's phantom ace(hearts, clubs, diamonds) starters on the second row to the right of the ace of spades, 2 of hearts, 2 of clubs. But you could go to infinity I suppose but I guess with the confines of the system it does restart after 52.

On the flip side If you extrapolate that a 52 sequence may be contained within 1 and then another 52 sequence within the other and within those sequences of 52 their own 52 sequences. So in that regard it can go on forever. Basically, I believe this system is saying is that the sum contains the whole or whatever the expression is. Any part is reflected in itself. And in any other part of the grid based upon the layout of Moon/Sun spreads being natural order spreads...Moon by number. Sun by suit. So of course those are 2 of the 90 spreads so the data changes for everyone but everyone is still linked through the Karma cards no matter if you have a different spread or card as anyone else in any given year. Basically this world we live in is a hologram or computer. Since you are part of it(and perhaps co-created it) but are certainly co-creating it now.

This is some deep stuff and I'm sure I could go on forever talking in loops(as the cards predict). This philosophical discussion and symbology really does fascinate me. Still the question I beg to have answered is why do we have the calendar we do? Now, it should be noted that Olney Richmond(the guy in 1893 who brought this system forth) didn't use the shortcut of doubling months and adding dates. But rather everything has a number associated with it. January for instance has some 7-8 digit number as do every day number(1-31) of the year which when combined equal some other other number. I guess I should look into that some more and try and decipher that as I've only read that part of the text a few times. So if there's some other way to get the same conclusions that universal rather than solar system based...that'd be interesting but if not that still begs the question of the nature of reality and why this system works here but may not in some other quadrant of the galaxy. But if this system is an illusion and it's contained within a universe that would make the whole universe an illusion. Right?

I'd like to get my website up on 12/21/12. It's a perfect symbolic day to launch as it's a combination of two palindromes. 12/21 21/12. Oh yeah, and the end of the world! So I really need to hunker down and get cracking at it...but since everything is connected I'm always tempted to look into some other area of study and its symbology connected to the cards.

Bought 3 decks of cards today. Have some space in my building with big tables or I could use the floor so I think I can extrapolate with better pictures. Expect those tomorrow.

While I have Olney Richmond's, the guy from 1893 who put the wheels of motion into this thread, The Mystic Test Book(or a copy of it by some dude trying to make a buck on Amazon)...I've since discovered one can read that book online for free...

Olney H. Richmond - The Mystic Test Book

Other mystical books are also available for reading for free like his Temple Lectures of the Order of the Magi by the same Olney H. Richmond. I've skimmed through it and it hits some of the same notes as the other book I have(above) without the math, charts, tarots and whatnot. He's off on some scientific stuff of his day, as one would figure, number of moons around certain planets for instance. Intriguing philosophies nevertheless to ponder in this book. For a rundown on the cards and math...you want to read the other one though.

Thanks to Cards of Life for pointing forward to the free read of a book I don't have.

I wonder if anyone I gave readings to has delved into this deeper or lurkers for that matter...?

Sorry for the bump but some people might be interested in reading Mr. Richmond's work.

Thanks to everyone who made this thread a success. I don't plan on doing any more readings at this time. Enjoy the reads.
