They are in high school. SBT actually manages to pull off some eerie similarities to high school in its short run considering the limits placed on it. Honestly that moment and one other stands out as 'wut' material.

A lot of this stuff was very quick, only a few seconds long, I believe and that could be why it got through. That it was a cartoon it likely wasn't watched to closely either and those behind the show knew that. No way they'd get away with that today.

What!? I've seen that episode a million times, there's never any part where LSP gets all hot and bothered. There's the part where she goes "OH. OH. OH. OH. OH." when she hears that promcoming is happening and her brain can't handle how awesome it will be, and the part where Melissa thinks Finn tried to trick her into making out, but the only part with LSP and her ex Kevin is when he goes, "Hey LSP, miss me yet?" and she gets all bent and goes "Move over Finn, I'm gonna sit in the back."

Which obviously means you're just a pervert and you're projecting onto an innocent kids show! Shame on you!
