I feel like this game is being released into the wild to die. I liked Lords of Shadow, but i feel no hype or excitement for this game. Its a shame. Makes me wonder what the next Silent Hill game will be like.
This game is going to fucking rock. Seriously.
It'll look beautiful next to my LE of Lords of Shadow.
Just hoping Konami comes out with another limited edition for the U.S. with a physical soundtrack, although it seems unlikely at this point. I need more Oscar Araujo in my driving life and the miniatures/massive box don't interest me (the art book is nice though).
Makes me sad I wont be able to play this, no last gen console or PC for me anymore
As one of the few that think is the best action adventure game of last gen I say "Damn you Capmcom"
Probably won't see a soundtrack bundled with the US launch, but we are working on making the soundtrack available sometime around launch.

Kudos for reviving this franchise. LoS was absolutely magnificient. A bit bummed out that we're only seeing 2 parts in the saga (a trilogy would of been awesome), but great stuff nonetheless.
To be honest I am worried about that, after all MercurySteam is finishing the story with Lords of Shadow 2, so I am afraid more of Lords of Shadow may dilute it.But it is a trilogy. I think you're forgetting about Mirror of Fate, which Mercurysteam counts as part II.
And don't count out the franchise just yet, Dave Cox has commented several times that it may continue, it just won't continue with him/Mercurysteam.
That's kind of jarring, haha.looks like Gabriel doesn't have nipples!?

This one is supposed to be more open world. As someone who hasn't really been following this game is it a linear game or is it more open this time around?

That is so generic that combined with a lack of promotion for the game, I do not see the game making any kind of bigger impact...
I don't think it's generic at all. Generic would be some random CG assets. Or like the MGSV: Ground Zeroes cover.

So why can't Konami count? If Part 2 is part 3?![]()
Not if the modern setting is gothic enough. The Crow took place in modern times but with that kind of dark, gothic architecture, you could easily see how this would make its place. However, the mechs - not the Titan in the demo but the MGS types of mechs and mechanized soldiers - may seem a bit out of place.Pretty excited for this. The first game was pretty decent, and this looks to improve upon it from a gameplay standpoint... I am kind of worried about the modern day setting being uncastlevanialike though.
less than 2 months and we only have 2 trailers.
