This is a solid Metroidvania-style reimagining of Simon's first adventure, loving the VRC6 renditions of the music, especially Thrashard in the Cave (and the cave level itself!) from the X68000 CV1 remake. The controls feel good and snappy, if this wasn't using the Castlevania IP this could be easily sold on Steam.

I really like the effort the dev put into the new/modified content (8 way whip is great).

Just wanted to boost the devs work, worth a download for sure!
