Coincidentally, TitanFall happened to be an Xbox One exclusive, yet it was the only game related leak he had and it happened to be a negative one 🤔

All of his leaks were targeting Xbox One and just negative news only, nothing on the PS4 to report, not even Deep Down

To be fair, the early days of the Xbox One was so bad that there is a real possibility the information he/she got was accurate at the time. The X1 possibly could have turned out even worse than it did.

uhm... you don't know what happened back stage at the time, it is possible that they planned to clock it lower.


also Titanfall was pretty much 720p... 792p is what it was in the end, and I'm pretty sure they optimised it right up until release to run as high as possible.
it seems they were actually trying to het it to 1080p before launch... which didn't happen.


with everything that happened before the launch of the Xbox One the shit was so crazy that telling which of these leaks were lies or just stuff that changed last minute is impossible.

also noone with a working brain had anything positive to say about the Xbox One until the day they did the 180° on their always on DRM shit.

The guy had nothing to leak but negative Xbox related news, some of which (Like the downclock) was false and in fact backwards to what actually happened. If he had news on the cancellation of Deep Down or the delay of DriveClub, he would probably keep that to himself, the bias was clear.

I was one of those who has always had an optimistic expectations for both consoles and I always defended the Idea that Series X is indeed 12tf rdna and Hellblade is what we can expect.

BOTH being equally beasts throw the responsibility on First party Studios from both companies to do all they can to take the graphics crown, to invest on exclusives and services as multiplatforms games, wich are the majority of any platform library, wouldnt represent an important aspect for choice with both having equally great performances

WOW, the persecution complex in this thread from XBOX fans is off the chain...…..CBOAT was right in his predictions of the XBONE situation, it's lack of power and it was clearly seen that MS took some steps just before and after launch to bring back some of the CPU and GPU power back to XBONE......Does anyone doubt that Titanfall ran at 720p at one point? No...…..Lots of the processing power MS gave back from Kinect, 10% CPU/GPU, upclocks etc...was because devs were already complaining heavily before the console launch in 2013......CBOAT just reported on what existed then, which was true......

The upping of the CPU clockspeed just before launch, all of that was done because XBOX's three pronged OS consumes more CPU power than the PS4 OS, even some devs like Ubi traditionally close to MS went the parity route, all in an effort to save face......Had it not been for several quick 180's at the last hour in 2013, XBONE's launch would have been even worse rez and performance wise...…180's on the priorities of a gaming console, all in one box. TV TV TV, as opposed to pushing more spec for the games, 180's on the DRM policy, 180's on BC from the gen before where PS3 had full BC two gens down, 180's on crossplay vs the 360 era......180's on always online and the list goes on........I know many people want to forget about this, but the reality is, a consumer must take a cautious approach with such a wild history........What will MS do in 2020 that backfires? nobody genuinely wants it, but it's all about precedence, they are just prone to doing something or perhaps something befalls them like RROD........The only time MS will gain some traction is when they actually deliver an entire gen without a big faux-pas......

Yup, he said he his educated guess is that Xbox will have the edge. PS5 not being 9tf doesn't mean it'll more powerful than Series X. I fully expect them to be pretty close though.

Thts OK but my point is most gave ps5 the edge or put both very close to eachother dispelling tht 9tf bs. Everyone here saying it's going to be 9tf are only saying it bcus of tht github info and Matt dispelled it as bs so did Klee and others.

Its amazing that people still care about consoles specs in 2020. As if it's an indication of quality. The ps2 was the least powerful out of the xbox and gamecube but the ps2 was by far the superior console.

Also, Sony is buying the rights for all future Halo games in exchange for their Blasto IP.

Finally, Nintendo is going to announce a new Zelda game, but this one is going to be an RTS/Tower Defense game. Open world is so 2019.
