CDPR hoping to include Transgender Options in Character Creation for Cyberpunk 2077

Better question is how will the game address it, if it's purely cosmetic then it's wasted. I think the worst part is that people are satiated by being included superficially.

It's very much a part of the setting, as the bizarro outrage screamers on Twitter and hate forums found out the other day. No problem with the option being included, just another facet of player choice.
 
I just hope it has actual in-game ramifications, rather than just being a cosmetic choice. Still I commend them for including the option.

And yes I'd totally play as the soda ad girl. Or at least try to recreate her. And it would be great for that choice, to be reflected in character interactions.

Pretty interesting and I imagine a first for any game on console? I wonder if they do implement this, how far it'll go in describing your character and his/her history and if the gender would have some part of the story, like NPC's reacting differently if they knew.
 
All I hope for, is that CDPR makes a better game than the Witcher series, because that was mediocre crap.

Cyberpunk is looking good so far though and if people like to be gay or tranny in a game, it's good to make it optional, I guess.

Instead of adding a trans option, why not force you pick a sex at the beginning and allow you to modify as you go along?

Seems more realistic to me. If you have the money you can buy the parts you need.
 
More options is always welcomed, please announce mod tools for pc versions too, they used to support modding community pretty well.
 
It is dysktopian world where people attach different set of eyes. So someone having 3 tits or 2 dicks or pumpjack for a dick shouldn't be out of lore.

So what I don't understand is that if someone is a Transgender Female, why don't they want to call themselves female and play a female character?
I thought they want to be accepted for who they want to be/are?

Totally fine with it. But then I read stuff like this and thinnk to myself these people will never be happy about it. And if you give in to these social media terrorists they will eat you alive.

Sounds like it's limited to physical characteristic sliders, and voice options. That's not nearly good enough. If they want to give the player the option to be trans, then that needs to be a selectable option that plays into the character's story and the world itself. Make it a part of who they are, and show the player how trans people struggle with family, relationships, transitioning, bigotry, etc. Show what kind of effect those fetishized in-game advertisements have on the character. Show the player why those ads are as bad as you say they are. Humanize trans people, CDPR. Be an ally here.

I really do not like these kidn of people. And these are also the first saying how bigoted Projekt RED is and they have a large history of Anti trans tweets (It was 1) etc.

We have two positions here:
-The one where CDPR panders to the lobby to make them happy.
-And the one where the option is pretty much a must given the setting of the world.

I assume we can all blame the first I guess.

I imagine it would be just like in a Mass Effect game. Male/Female voice, just disassociated with the body type.

I was more thinking of one sticking out from the forehead, like in the super awesome movie "From Beyond"
but I can do your suggestion too.
The more penises my character can have the better.

Maybe I can battle you and if I win I can take your penis and attach it to my body.
When you run out of penises you get perma-death and have to start all over with a new character.

That would be a real fucking awesome game mechanic. Call me king-penis and bow to my power.

I've said this before. I don't really care about this, to each their own and if somebody wants to play as a trans person then power to you. As long as the quests and story don't suffer...imagine quests where you have to hunt someone down for misgendering...

The real problem will be with TW4.

Yeah well, I think they kinda fucked it up with that image. Not sure how they didn't see this coming, especially if they're trying to look good in the eyes of said people. But whatever, If they're trying to make up for it, it's cool, but PLEASE don't delay the game.
