I'm only about 9 minutes into this episode but I seriously don't think I'm going to be able to make it through the rest. This is really really terrible.

btw, I'm pretty sure it's "dave chappelle, that ain't yo wife." Makes too much sense because at the end it says "way before dave chappelle had two kids...ain't gettin no coochie." Saying "that ain't yo wife" makes more sense in freaking him out because he's trying to dance with other chicks.
no, the line is "Dave Chappelle has an Asian wife" or something along those lines. Why do you think he goes over to start dancing with an asian girl

It's definitely "That ain't your wife." He's dancing with the asian chick, Tupac says it, and then Chappelle looks all confused/shocked.

The Howard Dean, Gary Coleman and Sex skits were just awful. They were Dave and crew trying to figure out what's funny. It was sad.

The Minstrel-pixies, however, were hilarious. The Latino pixie, not so funny. Mind of Mencia is bad enough EIGHT HUNDRED TIMES A WEEK. But the first iteration was coy, clever and worthwhile. These skits all have the feeling of being half-done, which, of course, they were.

Chinese pixie? Alright. I get it.

I loved the first part of the Pixie sketch. Aside from that, it droned on for too long. The part with the white guy was good, too.

Stop man, it is "that aint ya wife" then he goes to the other girl, and then "pac" says he got two kids, and then he leaves that asian girl

I think I know why Dave doesn't want us watching this...it sucks! And now I know why he quit the show...because he realized how bad the writing was and how drawn out and boring every skit is. He was obviously pressed for time, and CC wouldn't let him re-shoot and re-write. So he said **** it...he figured if he quit, people would never see how bad the season would've been.

Shame...Dave was right to leave. I think it all makes sense now.

Some of the skits you can tell he's trying to make a political statement, like the Monsters and MTV Cribs skits and it works great. I felt that there was some genuine humor and social commentary in those skits.

But some of them you can tell were being racist for the sake of being racist, like the pixie skit. I actually cringed watching that. As much as Dave uses racism for humor, he was pushing it in excess in the pixie skit

I think it's important to remember that every season there are bits that don't make into the show. Undoubtly Dave would have cut quite a few of these out, and certainly cut out the fat from the rest.

Comedy Central just put out everything they had, and that means a lot of crap got through.

Yep. Viscera pretty much summed it up.

I finished watching the whole episode....the only thing I thought was funny was the part where the white pixie was telling him to recite 50 Cent lyrics to relate to the black people. That was literally the only funny thing in the whole episode for me.

I agree, but it's a shame that he blamed his leaving on some random crew member laughing, and not on the declining quality of the show.

-1 dave.

watched it at home, thought it was terrible. then I went out and watched it again with a group of people and found it hilarious for some reason. laughter is contagious I guess

I thought the pixie sketch was a good build up to the Ying Yang Twins on Cribs. It went on far too long, though.

The Tupac sketch was brilliant, however. I loved it.

And it's "Dave Chappelle, that ain't your wife." Christ.

Run up in ya' spot like CJ from San Andreas........AH WROTE DIS SONG A LOOOOOONG A TIME AGO! :lol

I don't get the deal in this thread, but I'm digging these new episodes alot. I liked that Gary Coleman bit better than half the stuff they ever did. This made me really said to see the show gone. I'd totally watch a "The Charlie Murphy and Ashy Larry Munchie Hour", believe it!

The pixie sketch had it's moments good and bad, mostly bad... but I was more impressed that they had audience comments about it, and then when they put the Ying Yang twins in... I was like WTF that's REAL people acting f'n ignorant so how can I hate on his sketch? The Dean skit, meh, the Coleman skit funny briefly. The other sketch... I couldn't make heads or tails of it...(the TV folk kept appearing in his home). This show was hit and miss, mostly miss but that's not different than a few eps from Season 1 or 2 , I liked the 1st ep more this one.

He actually meant that it was that laugh that made him realize that everything they've shot so far sucked. It was pretty much where it all began...
