Zavvi: PSN £20 Card - £15.95

not released until 18th September

For a better deal, tomorrow you can use a code with Zavvi which gives you £3.50 off £30.

so...add 2 x PSN cards @ £15.95 = £31.90

then use the folllowing code..ZWalk

the total then comes to £28.40

a lovely saving of £11.60 :D

This week at least, GAME are offering £180 for the PS3 60Gb towards a slim.

All other units are £125.

Isn't that effectively offering you an upgrade from a 60GB HD to a 120GB one for £120? That's Microsoft-level charging!

Good stuff. At least we know they are coming out soon.

I'll buy them like this from now on. Sure it's a waste of packaging but hey it's cheaper.

European GameStops have a new trade-offer. (At least Finlands GameStop)
Change 2 games and pay 4,95€ to get:
* Halo 3 ODST (Xbox 360)
* Console Skin (Limited and GameStop Exclusive)
* Pre Order Token - Sgt Johnson
* Opportunity to play Halo Reach beta when available

Just recycle the boxes if they are only holding cards like the xbl ones, no harm then :D

Early xbl points boxes use to be great for replacement green boxes, then they changed the design to hold a dinkey little card which makes the dvd box feel like a complete waste of time.

Yeah, the XBL point DVD cases that don't hold discs are a complete waste. Nintendo Points Cards on the other hand just come in cardboard envelopes now which is much better.

Mh, if I ever have to buy something from the UK store (German store here) like an addon for my UK games, I think I would use these extra game cases to create custom ones for some of my PSN games (e.g. WipEout HD).

Lies! Voucher doesn't work :,(
Zavvi Vouchers: £3.00 off 35.00 - ZWalk, 15% - 15EXP
yeah, it was more like £3 off of £35. Still doesn't work for me and neither does 15% off :(

More like £70 if you're trading in a 60gb.
Worse still if you're only trading in an 80gb - that'll cost you £125.

I traded in my 60gb, not for the hdd since I swapped mine for a 320gb, but just for the peace of mind. Few launch PS3's belonging to friends have been on the fritz recently, so I reckoned it's either £70 now, or £120 further down the line to get it fixed.

Best Uncharted 2 price around guys?
Mind you, no UK only places thx, I need it shipped to Italy :)

I wouldn't mind also a super cheap Uncharted 1... platinum or not doesn't make any difference to me.

About Uncharted 2, it's £37 pretty much everywhere :(

I´d rather pay 37 pound sterling than whatever they think they can charge me in Germany :lol

I played Uncharted in English anyway, but my brother played it in German. So it´s not a real problem, but inconvenient.

A BIG FUCK YOU to the idiot who thought that it´d help sales outside the UK. How about making games more affordable for the rest of Europe instead.

Littlewoods... the MS pts were £22, voucher made them £7, but when I checked my bank, it says £22 was taken and rather ridiculously I already opened the points and put them on 360...

I've heard Littlewoods credit back the voucher value, is that true? If not, I just severely screwed myself over >.<

I did Quidco as well, for the first time :D

How's Zavi delivering in Europe (outside UK... In France for exemple) ? Because I'm very satisfied with Play.com but Zavi got better prices on particular games so I was thinking being unfaithfull to Play.com once or twice...

I live in Sweden and have had no trouble ordering from Zavvi.

Dutch here. I prefer Play, because it is very reliable. Zavvi/TheHut (same company) orders vary more in delivery time (1-2 1/2 weeks), Play is always one week for me. Both are very reliable.

They returned the £15 to me, don't worry about it.

I should not really mention delivery times, because the local post service is to blame.

Somehow amazon.co.uk stuff arrives a lot quicker then others.

Not really a biggy, but from both ShopTo and Zavvi i got versions from other countries. Hells Highway was an american version, and CoH OF i got some Finnish version that said on the back "Not to be sold in the UK". Just informing :).

Zavvi has been good for me. (besides requiring a credit card statement which I didn't send and now I've been able to order from them without problems)

Delivery time was 4 days to Finland last week. But now my order from TheHut (which is the same company) has taken a week and it hasn't arrived.

EDIT: Shopto has Gears of War 2 and Fable 2 GOTY editions for £19.85.

I've ordered from Zavvi five times. Once they sent me the wrong version of a movie. Twice. Maybe I'll finally get the CE in two weeks or some such. Another movie was out of stock, the estimated date was revised twice.

Delivery times in general are expected to be slower. 15 days says the FAQ.

So yeah, in general Zavvi doesn't strike me as as reliable as other sites I've used. In cases like Mini Ninjas, and now Wet, all that stuff becomes kind of irrelevant though. And I doubt my experience is the norm. So if you're willing to wait a little longer, go for it.

I like zavvi, served me well and quick postage so far.

I'm still waiting for my £5 version of Damnation from play, they were slow at sending it out (usually quite quick too) and being a sunday the wait time for postage is already days longer then they usually take for me, I live near london which seems to help, maybe they have some warehouses there.

If you not seen CAG, Fable II GOTY (with dlc) for £20 at shopto

Regarding anyone who ordered that 2100 XboxPoints card from Littlewoods for £7 -

Got my credit card bill in today they charged me £22 and refunded £15 the very same day :)

There are postal strikes all over the place at the moment - when your orders will turn up will be a bit of a lottery for the forseeable future :\

hey guys, just wanted to know, is mymemory reliable??
they have some pretty sweet prices and i might some stuff from them, thanks in advance:D

Bought a memory card a while ago from them... No problem, and quick delivery.

On another topic, any good deals on FF Dissidia? But not on zaavi or other stores associated, cause they don't accept my credit card details for some reason, and they don't answer my e-mails... Thanks in advance.
