Quick question : where can I find a Xbox 360 replacement game case in the UK ?
Does GAME sell those ? I'd like to buy one in a physical store, if possible. Thanks in advance.

Cheers, I actually had a look about after I posted and pre-ordered it from that very place, meant to edit that in.

Darksiders is £25 in alot of places too, considering grabbing it since the demo was pretty cool.

Bomba confirmed. Card games just don't sell on PS1, they should have sticked to saturn where this genre is already established.
 
yeah I also want the GoW3 CE (not triology) to pop up on a UK site, too. Preferably actually shipping from UK because I'm from Germany and this would be faster and no possible customs.
Though sadly they don't include one of the OSTs DLC-codes, just one for the bonus costume etc.


I kinda gave up on a big AC2 price drop... at the moment I just hope they will soon announce some kind of GOTY edition with every single preorder content&DLC included, for that I would pay the current price.


Also still waiting for the FFXIII CE to price drop / price war. It's not exclusive to a single shop but still it's one of the most expensive CEs in relation to its content...
I want to buy FFXIII on release and I NEED that CE cover/slipcase with the classic art, but £60 is uuuhhh, even with the (partial) OST.


I vote for a WKC bomba next month, too (I think SO4 droped already? hate its design though). Some of my Monster Hunter & FFXI buddies are playing it and want me to join. Because of the late release and lots of other games I want it to drop into the £19.95 region before I buy it, same with the cut Yakuza 3 english version.

Though I'm not sure if both games won't undership, I remember how I tried to get VC for cheap last January and in many shops it was even out of stock etc.
 
Gamestation.co.uk is selling Wolfenstein for PS3 & 360 for £9.99

Game.co.uk is selling Rock Band Song Pack for £7.99 and Lego Rock band for £15.95. Both for PS3 and 360.

It shows at £9.99 but hey, Amazon usually honours these prices.

The release date is all wrong (The Old Republic is 2011 isn't it?) but the price is very right for me. Thanks for that.

Does anyone know if the recent wave of £99 xbox arcades was a one-off or if there was a reason for it? I thought since mine broke it would be a good time to pick up a replacement, but the cheapest I can find one now is £129 from thehut.

There have been deals for the Arcade on and off since before Christmas, all around the £100-£120 mark with free games and controllers. I think it's safe to assume something might be changing with the 360 SKUs in the coming months which is causing the massive Arcade price drops (remember, the RRP was put up to £159 a while ago).

There are multiple box types abot, green with card holder, green with disc holder, orange with card holder... Last time I got green with disc holder was about 2 years back.
 
You should have stocked up on them when Woolies was clearing out all their spare display cases for pennies.
 
As far as the Xbox360 replacement cases go just find an old sports games locally that looks like it has a good case (this latter part is the hardest bit). Quite a few places sell old sports games for next to nothing (£2 or less).

You alternative is to search around on Amazon.co.uk (by price lowest to highest) and see what new games you can get for cheap (I wouldn't suggesting getting a used sports game off Amazon marketplace if the case condition is your number one priority since it is hard to verify case quality but games like Fifa 07, PES 06, PES 2008 will be £2 after postage).
 
I got some new points cards (definitely recent, they had avatars and stuff on) from The Hut group which came in a proper case with disk holder. They're around.
 
Further to my last post regarding the price of 360 arcades, I went into Currys today and they had arcades for £129, and you got mass effect 2 for half price if you bought an arcade, a free copy of me2 with an elite.

So it was £149 for a 360 arcade + ME2, which isn't bad at all.

Very reliable, a load of my friends ordered Demon's Souls and GOW Collection from them.
As with all imports just be wary of customs.

Yeah, I get all my US imports from VG+ and have never had any issues whatsoever.
Also, regarding customs, they mark my packages as a 'toy game' with a value of $20 so customs won't be an issue. Pretty sure they do this with all orders :)

Whats the cheapest place to get MS points atm? Thehut have them for £14.93 but temp out of stock, just wondered if someone could give them to me cheaper than that before I go and put the order in (then wait weeks for them to arrive)...
